I stood up and walked out to the balcony, where a private pool was lit. Taking a breath, I gazed over my shoulder at Kade who was now leaning on the door frame. “Do you want to take a dip with me?” I asked, tilting my head to the pool.
He arched an eyebrow. Taking the opportunity, I began unzipping my dress and toeing off my shoes. My dress fell into a pile at my feet, showcasing my matching black lace bra and panties. I turned to Kade, giving him a better view.
He continued to lean on the frame of the door. He bit his lower lip as his gaze went from my head to my toes. His stare made my skin heat.
I stepped into the pool before diving under the water. When I came up for air, I leaned on the other side of the pool that oversaw the cityscape.
The view was beautiful with all of the lights illuminating the city around us. From my vantage point I could see the main strip of all the hotels and casinos where patrons walked without second thought.
After a few moments, I heard the telltale sound of clothing being shucked, hitting the patio, and the sounds of him walking into the water. Soon I felt the heat of his cheston my back. He spun me around so I was facing him. The water danced on his bronze skin. Tattoos cascaded on his chest and arms as peeks of the lion tattoo curled over his shoulders. He was built like a god. I placed my hands on his chest and slowly traced them down his abs and back up again. Meeting his gaze, I bit my lip.
He gripped my chin and lightly brushed his thumb across my bottom lip. “You are so beautiful. And these lips… the things I want to do to them.” A low growl sound escaped from deep within his chest.
“Then what are you waiting for?”
That was all the prompting he needed before he captured my lips with his, one hand grabbing the top of my neck and the other snaking around my waist.
He gripped my hair, making my head tilt to give him better access as he slid his tongue into my mouth and explored it in its entirety.
The kiss was slow at first. He tasted like whiskey and something sweet I couldn’t place. I wrapped my arms around his neck, deepening the kiss and tangling my tongue with his. I moaned into his mouth, loving the feeling of his mouth against mine. It felt so right yet so wrong at the same time. This was my boss. I shouldn’t be doing this, but as if possessed, my body took control and pushed my mouth closer to his.
Sliding his hands behind my thighs, he pulled me up so I could wrap my legs around his waist. I whimpered when his hardness pressed against my core.

A slight gasp left my lips when I felt the cool surface of the granite counter in the primary bathroom. As Kade turned to grab towels, the loss of his heat was immediately noticeable and left me wanting his return.
I barely had enough time to dry off before Kade took the towel from my hands. Gently he massaged my scalp with the towel, soaking up the excess water from my hair before slowly wiping off the water droplets that covered my skin.
