As I walked outside the apartment building, a blacked-out SUV idled near the entry door. The driver was standing outside, no doubt waiting to take my bags.

The drive to the airport was a short one. Instead of entering the terminals, the vehicle went down a private road that led out to the tarmac. Walking up the steps of the private jet, I was met with the definition of luxury. The cabin was a neutral tone with cream-colored leather on the seats. In the back of the plane, there was a bedroom suite with a bathroom. The plane put any first-class seats to shame.

In the last seat before the bedroom, Kade sat tapping away on his laptop. His thick, black-rimmed glasses slid down his nose before he used his index finger to move them up. Kade was sexy on a normal day; however, Kade in glasses with dark jeans and a tight black t-shirt was drool-worthy. I cleared my throat, grabbing his attention.

“Good morning, sir,” I said, keeping my eyes on the floor. I felt so out of place on this plane. I didn’t live poorly, but this kind of luxury made my skin itch from nerves.

“Good morning, Ms. Mowers.” His voice was curt. Looking back down at his computer, he began tapping away again.

I shifted from one foot to the other before sitting in one of the large recliner-like chairs. The flight attendant came over as soon as I was seated. “Good morning, Ms. Mowers. Can I get you anything to drink?”

I looked up to the polished blonde. She looked like someone who you would see in a porno with her plump lips, tall tan and toned legs and a tight uniform that had her breasts nearly coming out of her white blouse.

“Mimosa, please?”

She nodded before scurrying off.

I moved my eyes around the plane, wondering if Kade would be on his computer the entire time or if he would make conversation.

I didnotlike flying.

The blonde came back over to me, handing over the champagne and orange juice concoction. I took the glass, knocking back the contents in one sip, my nose burning from the bubbles of the champagne. Kade sat watching me with an eyebrow cocked.

“Not a huge fan of flying,” I said before giving the flight attendant a quick smile.

“Better keep those coming then,” Kade said flatly.

Great, I was stuck on a plane with my boss who’d clearly woken up with a stick up his ass.

The seatbelt light signaled on, and the plane got ready for takeoff.

Between taking Dramamine and drinking five mimosas, I was finally able to get some sleep during the long flight.

Kade had barely said a word to me, instead focused on his computer and phone.

My bladder screamed for relief as I woke with urgent need, quickly got up from my chair and made my way to the back of the plane. Unlike other airplane bathrooms, this one was double the size of the norm and had two sink basins. Why there was a need for two sinks baffled me.

After washing my hands, I walked out of the bathroom and was surprised when the plane hit turbulence. The force made me lose my balance and tumble into Kade’s lap. As I fell, my head hit one of the overhead compartments. “Fuck!” I cursed, rubbing the back of my head.

“Merda!” Kade cursed under his breath at the impact before strong hands grabbed my waist.

I kept my eyes closed. “Please tell me I didn’t crunch your computer with my ass.” I hadn’t noticed if he was using it or not when I ventured to the bathroom. I opened one eye, scared of the answer.

Whiskey-brown eyes met mine, and a hint of a smirk edged on his gorgeous lips.

“Computer is safe, my whiskey and pants… not so much.”

That’s when the wet feeling registered on my ass. “Oh shit!” I scrambled off his lap and tried to see behind me to see how wet my own ass was.

I must have seemed ridiculous because once I made a 180-degree turn, Kade was waiting with a hand towel and raised one of his eyebrows. “The bedroom has a mirror if you need to… see more.”

Oh, now he was all jokes! It only took me soaking my ass and his crotch in whiskey for him to talk to me.

Horrified, I snatched the towel from him and started patting my ass while avoiding looking at his groin area. It was useless, I needed to change. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Kade stand up and start unbuttoning his dress shirt.

“Um… what are you doing?”

“Changing, since I would prefer not to be covered in whiskey the rest of the flight,” he remarked coolly.
