“I can say I liked it too,” I said.
“But, Sam?—”
“Is a big boy and if he didn’t like something he could have said no,” I said calmly. “By the looks of it there was never a time he wanted to say no, but if you are really worried about it, you need to talk about it, instead of running away from it.”
“It’s complicated,” he mumbled.
“Well, let's uncomplicate it,” I said. “Let’s go eat and talk.”
Jude studied me. “Sam is at your house isn’t he?”
“He’s grabbing dessert at Mae’s,” I said, turning Triton around. “Let’s go.”
Jude mumbled something, but I heard him following me. He stayed quiet as we undressed our horses, laying out fresh hay for them and giving them some celery I brought in earlier.
“I’ll come back with some watermelon,” I said, kissing Triton on his head before closing his stall. “I have some peaches for you, Ryder.”
I passed by Jude’s horse who I swore was just like his owner, a big brat.
He tried to play indifferent, but he loved the attention.
Jude was putting a few things away when I decided he needed some good attention. I grabbed him, spun him around and pushed him against the wall. I took his hat off, wrapping my hand around the back of his neck and kissed him hard.
He groaned when I licked the seam of his lips and he opened up for me. I stroked his tongue with my own as I leaned against him. Since I was a little taller, I liked that he had to look up to kiss me. I liked the power dynamic it established because if my guess was correct, I think Jude would be a good submissive in bed, albeit a bratty one. We just needed to coax it out of him.
I ended the kiss with a small nip on his lips before pulling away. He leaned forward to chase my lips and as much as I wanted to give him more, Webber should be at my house by now.
“Come on, let me feed you and we can talk,” I said, grabbing his hand, leading him to the ATV.
I got on before he hopped onto the back. This four-wheeler wasn’t big enough for us, but we made do. Jude was able to press himself closer and if I wasn’t mistaken, he was hard. As we drove back to the house his hands roamed. The kiss had made him brave, I needed him to be confident to take what he wanted.
Webber’s car was in the driveway as Jude tensed behind me. His hand stopped their perusal of my body and everything that kiss had done vanished into thin air. Maybe he didn't like Sam or maybe he didn’t want to ruin the friendship?
Jude got off the back of the ATV as Webber slipped out of his car. Jude froze as Webber got a few bags of the car and I pushed Jude towards the house.
“I got two desserts because while I love shortcake, Mae’s apple pie is pretty damn good and then I got to thinking you can’t have apple pie without ice cream, so I went to get ice cream and then brought some drinks too,” Webber said, completely unaware of the existential crisis Jude was having.
I opened the door letting Jude go in first and then Webber, who gave me a quick kiss before going inside. He placed the bags on the table before going to Jude.
“Hi,” he said, hugging Jude.
Jude’s eyes grew wide before he settled into the hug. The look of contentment crossed his features before Webber pulled back.
“Are you ok?” he asked.
“Yeah… are you?” Jude asked quietly.
I went to the kitchen to grab everything I needed for the stuffed baked potatoes.
“I’m fine,” Webber said, leaning down.
His back was to me and I'm sure he leaned down to kiss him. I tried to mind my business, but it was hard when all I wanted to know was that Jude was ok. The sound of lips smacking had heat running through me. I turned around hoping to catch a glimpse of something, but it was over before I could see anything.
“I like kissing you,” Webber said. “I’ll never say no to kissing you.”
Jude was quiet.
“Whatever you want,” Webber said.
