CHAPTER 1

Chase

Her mouth around my dick while on her knees in my office should have been the sexiest thing I’d seen. She was hot. Beyond hot. Her long dark hair hung along the side of her face as her green eyes peered up at me.

The blouse she wore was unbuttoned at the top, enough for me to see her substantial tits bounce in her ivory bra as her head slid up and down.

Don’t get me wrong, my dick was hard. Rock hard inside her mouth. She was gonna make me shoot my load any minute.

I didn’t want it to be her.

“Fuck!”

I exploded down her throat with my eyes closed, the picture of someone else in my mind the entire time. Was I an asshole? Absolutely. Did I care? Not one bit. She was here of her own accord; I did not coerce her. I was not about to turn down a blowjob.

The best part? She was a temp. She was here for another day or two, and I’d never see her again.

Of course it was risky doing this at work. Being the boss though, or one of them, had its perks now and then. Plus, locks on doors were a great invention.

She joined me on the couch as I zipped up my pants. My message was clear. We were done. As she sat next to me with a sultry look still all over her face, it seemed she wasn’t getting the message.

“Yeah, I think I have a call now,” I said to her as I stood.

She rushed to button her shirt and followed me to the door. It was open for her before she made it, my arm hanging across the top as I waited. She was putting on her heels as she made her way over, an expectant look on her face.

“Want to have lunch or something?” she asked.

“I can’t, I have meetings all day.” I opened the door more, hoping she would get the hint. “Maybe I’ll stop by later.”

Her tight-lipped smile told me she finally understood.

After closing the door, I leaned against it, waiting for the relaxed feeling to hit me. It should have already. Orgasms did that to the human body, it was why I did this. To relax.

It didn’t happen.

The tense feeling in my chest hadn’t gone away. The muscle fatigue was still there. Frustrated, I moved on to the next best thing.

There were few things I appreciated my father for. One of them was his old-fashioned, maddening enforcement of having a bar in his office. Like on the showMad Men, which portrayed a life from decades ago. Gage and I now had them, as co-CEOs. Like it was some kind of reward or something.

It was at times like this a drink came in handy.

The warm brown liquid warmed my throat all the way to my belly. I sat at my desk waiting for it to do its thing. That was when my phone rang.

“What’s up, Simon?”

Simon was my assistant. I liked him, not sure he liked me. Working for me had to be…difficult. Without him, I’d be an even worse Parker Financial employee.

And yeah, I was an heir to the company.

“Your brother said you’re late for a meeting with him.”

Fuck.

I looked at my watch—only five minutes late. So typical of Gage to make me feel late.

“Thanks, tell him I’m on my way.”

When I got to his office, I walked right in. He was on his phone, so I took a seat in front of his desk and waited.
