“Go get a glass of wine or something and then come back here to watch this movie.” He patted Stahma’s head. “And then maybe your cat will leave me alone.”

With the way she stared up at him, purrs rumbling as she nudged his hand with her nose, that wasn’t likely to happen. She was loving all of the extra attention. Even if it was forced.

She would love living with the three of us.

Oh, that was something to consider for the future—if they had one. Living in a place together would be interesting. Would she hate living with two guys? Only one could be enough of a challenge.

She shook off the thoughts that were piling in way too soon. Her ‘murder boyfriends’ were still MIA.

Willow shuffled into the kitchen and heard Stahma hop down with a soft thump to follow. “I’m not getting treats. Well, not for you anyway.”

Her cat meowed and wove between her feet as she filled a glass with wine. “You want anything?” she called out.

“I’m good. Thanks.”

Stahma let out a more outraged meow.

“Okay, fine!” Willow replied and retrieved the bag of treats. She laid out a couple on the floor and took her glass back to the living room.

She flopped onto the couch and took a long sip before letting herself become absorbed in the movie.

“It’ll be okay, Crytpy,” her friend said gently.

It was odd to hear the nickname in person. She couldn’t help but smile a little. “You’re probably right.” After another sip, she continued, “It sucks not knowing.”

“I know.”

Willow set her glass on the end table and curled up with one of the oversized throw pillows. The wine was warming her insides and making her eyelids droop. Maybe she could rest for a minute.

Her eyes shot open with the knock at the door. They were here.

She bolted up off the couch and nearly tripped over the blanket that had been draped around her. Ezra and Ryker were coming through the door.

Willow rushed them, unsure of who to tackle first, and ended up making both of them stumble from the impact.

“Damn, baby girl,” Ezra said, pulling her in for a kiss. “We said we’d be here.”

She stood on her tiptoes, desperately pressing her lips to his, unable to get enough.

“Guess I’ll uh… head out,” Landon said.

Regretfully, she unlatched from Ezra’s face to focus on her friend, who had kept her company all evening. Well, it was more like babysitting on his part.

“Don’t leave town without coming to K-Shop with me again,” she said.

Ryker’s face lit up, and Ezra practically groaned. “Fuck, I’m even more outnumbered.”

Landon nodded. “We’ll meet up. You… have fun.” He cleared his throat, cheeks red, and offered her a salute before vanishing into the hallway.

That left her with her two crazy men. She was practically giddy at having them together here and with no interruptions.

Meow.

“Cat stays out,” Ezra said, voice husky as he lifted Willow up and slung her over his shoulder. She let out a small yelp of surprise and watched as Stahma tried to follow them to her bedroom, but Ryker promptly closed the door before she could enter.

“Sorry, kitty.” He chuckled and quickly began to undo his belt. “You don’t want to see what we’re about to do.”
