Michael rolled his eyes as he pulled me up with a little more force. “Let’s go, Rockstar. You have such a dirty mind. Always thinking about sex.”
“Hello pot, meet kettle.” I laughed as he led me toward the sofa. “I think you’ve got that all wrong, He-Man. You’re the one walking around here shirtless, wearing those sweats so low they could slip off with one little tug. And commando, too. I can see your dick print through them.”
He pushed me down on the sofa, making me laugh. “You’re the one who’s looking at my dick print. And if you keep talking about it, it’s gonna be difficult to contain.”
“That’s what he said,” I quipped, making him groan.
Michael planted a passionate kiss on me, making my mind and body buzz with electricity. As he pulled away before I was ready, I let out a frustrated sound. “What the hell? You get me all hot and bothered like that and then leave me hanging?” I gestured to my hard dick.
“The wind blowing makes you hard, Rockstar.”
I laughed as he pushed my legs off the sofa like I was a baby doll, then pulled me up. The way he manhandled me was hot as fuck.
“You blowing me makes me hard.”
He sighed and sat on the sofa. Turning his gaze to me, he sighed. “What am I going to do with you, Rockstar?”
Love me?
Stay with me?
Spend your life with me?
I chuckled and shook my head before I said that out loud. Then, I turned my body towards Michael and adjusted my position on the couch so that I could face him.
“What’s on your mind, He-Man?”
Michael took my hand and brought it to his lips to kiss the top. Lowering it to his lap, he looked at me with something that looked like hope in his eyes.
“I found your father, Rockstar.”
CHAPTER22
MICHAEL
“What did you say?”
I squeezed his hand clasped in mine. “I said, I found your father, Rockstar. Actually, I found your uncle.” I watched as a myriad of emotions crossed his face. It was killing me to give him time to let that soak in, because I wanted to tell him everything.
“How? We didn’t know his last name.”
I nodded. “Right, but we did have your DNA. Remember when we sent it off to Family Match? They emailed me with the name of a man who shares your DNA. He’s your uncle. It turns out he’s your father’s fraternal twin.”
Adam let go of my hand and stood up, moving to the large windows that overlooked Portland. It was difficult to give him space when I wanted to wrap him up in my arms and reassure him things would be okay.
“He’s a really nice man, babe.”
Adam slowly turned to face me with knitted brows. He wrapped his arms around his lithe body protectively making it difficult for me to stay seated. “How do you know that, Michael?”
Keeping my eyes locked on his, I told him what I knew. “Because I checked him out thoroughly before I went to meet him.”
At my words, he took a step back and pressed his back against the glass. The sun shone around him, making him look like an angel. I couldn’t contain myself any longer, so I got up and went to him.
Adam held a hand up, his eyes almost frantic, and I stopped in my tracks with only a few torturous feet separating us. “When did you meet him? Where does he live? And more importantly, why haven’t you told me?”
I held up my hands then turned them palm up in offering to him. Adam looked at them a moment, then loosened his hold on himself to place them in mine. When I had them firmly in my grasp, I brought them to my mouth to kiss them. His breathing hitched as I looked at him.
“I’ve been dying to tell you everything, babe. Can we sit where I can hold you? I promise it’s all good news.”
