And then Xander’s heat and weight were on top of me again and he hadhisfingers inmyhair and I opened my mouth eagerly for him so he could lick his way into it and I could taste myself on his tongue, and if I’d had so much as a nap or a snack that wasn’t coffee in the last twenty-four hours I might have come again.

With a surge of need I rolled us both over and took my chance to pin him down, diving down between his legs and sucking his cock as far down my throat as it’d go in one movement. This was what I needed, the comforting weight of him in my mouth, inside me, hot and thick and perfect andmine.

It must’ve been just what Xander needed, too, because I’d barely swallowed around him before he bucked up into my mouth and came down my throat with a breathless gasp.

I collapsed with my head on his thigh, both of us panting for breath.

My eyes drifted closed as Xander’s fingers carded through my hair. Right now, everything was perfect.

“Not still mad at me?” I asked, rubbing my cheek against his thigh and pushing my head into his hand, eventually forcing myself to look up at him.

Xander laughed. “After that? You’ve earned, like, a bank of ten screw ups,” he said.

“Enough for a lifetime.”

I reached out, hand landing on his hip, thumb tracing circles on his perfect, warm, alive, right here skin.

I never wanted to be out of touching distance again. Not if I didn’t have to be.

“You’re gonna make my standing bread orders late,” Xander said after a minute.

“I will personally apologize to everyone affected,” I said solemnly. “And tell them exactly what happened and what we’re planning to do to mitigate further disruptions.”

Xander snorted. “Iggy would probably forgive me if you went and told him his bread was late because of the reunion sex.”

“Mm,” I agreed, pressing a kiss to Xander’s thigh before I used the last of my strength to drag myself up the bed so I could hold him. Just for a minute. “I love you.”

“I let breakfast go cold,” Xander said.

It took me a second to realize that he hadn’t saidI love you too.

“Oh.”

Yeah, right. I’d made him breakfast.

“After you finally made it for me,” he added.

“Doesn’t matter,” I said. “I’m here to make it every morning from now on. If you want.”

Xander broke into a smile I’d remember for the rest of my life.

“I want,” he said.

Then his phone rang.

XANDER

I realizedI had my t-shirt on backwards halfway down the stairs to answer the door to Muriel, who’d managed to call at exactly the wrong moment to come pick me up.

I also realized I hadn’t pulled down the roller blind on the door right as I tugged it off over my head to turn it around the right way and a wolf-whistle sounded on the other side of the glass.

“Didn’t we say seven?” I croaked as I opened the door, running a hand through my hair and hoping it wasn’ttooobvious that it was the mess it was because I’d just been sucking Milo’s dick. Maybe she’d think I’d been asleep.

“Six,” Muriel said. “I was sure I said six,” she added, and then frowned.

I didn’t remember anymore.
