“It’s justthat I didn’t expect to see your boyfriend’s ass when I came in here,” I said, relieved to be in the relative safety of the front room of Aiden’s shop, where his half-naked boyfriendwasn’t.

I focused on one of the newer illustrations on the wall, a big watercolor of the mountains outside. It wasn’t that there was anythingwrongwith Aiden’s boyfriend—Carter was an attractive man, and I evenlikedhim.

I just didn’t want to see him naked. Ever.

Aiden laughed, still buttoning up his fly, grinning at me like I hadn’t just walked in on…

On…

I couldn’t eventhinkit. I was mortified.

Carter was still hiding in the back room, which I understood. If the option to hide was open to me, I probably would’ve done the same thing. I was already itching to head next door and bury myself under a pile of inventory records.

Aiden took the coffee I’d brought him like nothing had happened.

“It’s a great ass, you should be thanking me,” he said, taking a sip.

Ofcoursethis didn’t bother him. He was the kind of person who’d have sex in a youth hostel dorm.

He was the kind of person whohadhad sex in a youth hostel dorm and then texted me about it in the middle of the afternoon.

“I’m not thanking you,” I said, grabbing my own coffee to give my hands something to do. “Put up a closed sign or something next time.”

“He got a nipple piercing,” Aiden said. “For me. Do you have any idea how hot that is?”

I wrinkled my nose, not really in the mood to picture Carter’s nipples, pierced or not.

I’dneverbeen in the mood to picture Carter’s nipples, and I wasn’t expecting I ever would be.

“No time for signs,” Aiden said, leaning back against his desk, one leg crossed over the other. Even though I’d interrupted him, he looked blissfully satisfied.

Probably because he knew they could pick right back up where they left off when they got home.

They weredisgustinglyin love, and if I hadn’t loved Aiden so much, I would’ve hated it.

“His nipple?” I asked cautiously, regretting it as soon as Aiden’s eyes lit up.

“It’s hot,” Aiden shrugged. “You know Devin hasbothnipples pierced, right?”

I blinked at him.

“Why would I know that?” I asked.

“Thought he might’ve told you.” Aiden smiled one of those awful, knowing little smiles he always smiled when we talked about his younger brother.

His younger brother, who I’d had a crush on for longer than I cared to admit.

“We’ve never discussed his nipples,” I said, and the wordnippleswas starting to sound weird to me.

Nipples, nipples, nipples.

Yeah. Definitely starting to sound weird.

“Why?” I asked, curiosity getting the better of me.
