“Was that apun?” I asked, so surprised I forgot all about what we were in the middle of for a moment.
Felix grinned up at me, grinding his hips down, a needy sound vibrating in his throat. “I’m a writer. It’s part of the experience.”
I snorted, pecking his lips again before curling my fingers around his shoulder, bracing both of us.
A moan echoed between the two of us as I pushed forward, breath catching at the way Felix’s body felt under me, impossibly hot, crushingly tight, so,sogood. All of the newness wasgood, andright.
“Gimme a minute,” Felix panted, sweat beading on his forehead.
I bent down to lick it off, desperate to know every taste, every sound, every feeling and scent and sight I could get from him.
It was like I’d been waiting for this my whole life.
“As many minutes as you need,” I promised, nuzzling his ear. “We’ve got all night.”
Felix laughed, back arching under me, body tightening as he adjusted. “You think you’re getting away with one round?” he said, eyebrow raised.
“I think you can have anything you want,” I said automatically. “Uh, I mean… it’s your big night, we can…”
“You’re enough,” Felix said, covering the hand I still had curled around with his own. “Go slow.”
“Slow?” I asked, easing my way through a first tentative roll of my hips.Thispart, I knew how to do.
Felix nodded tightly. “Just for a bit. Just… don’t rush.”
He gasped as I rocked into him, fingers tightening on my bicep, digging in deep enough to leave a bruise.
Whatever Felix wanted, he could have.
“Wasn’t planning on it,” I murmured, letting an easy rhythm build between us, savoring every stroke and the way Felix’s body gripped me, the way he reacted with tense muscles and hitched breaths, the way his nose wrinkled when I hit just the right spot.
I’d had enough frantic, needy, desperate sex to last me a lifetime. This wasn’t like that at all. The only thing in the world right now was Felix and all the places we were touching, the little patch of bed we were lying on, the low light from the bedside lamp making his skin glow golden as fresh sweat sprang up on it, dewy and glistening.
Beautiful.
There was that word again.
The long, slow pace still left the two of us panting for breath, tightening and gasping and grabbing at each other, neither of us willing to let go so soon.
“Need more,” Felix murmured, breathless, his thighs wrapped around my waist.
I shifted positions so I could go a little deeper, groaning at the change in angle at exactly the moment Felix did, resting my forehead against his and looking down between us, watching him wrap his fingers around his leaking cock.
“Should I be…?”
“You’re fine,” Felix cut me off, voice taught as a bowstring. “Keep going, feels good.”
“Yeah,” I agreed. “Feels good.”
Full sentences were a problem for future Kieran. Right now, I was having slow, satisfying, life-changing sex with the only person in the world I could ever imagine it being like this with. Itallfelt good.
Everything but the way Felix’s body felt against mine melted away, the rest of the world fading back until all that mattered was the hitch of Felix’s breath on every stroke, the broken moans scraping the back of his throat, the taste of his skin as I kissed him anywhere I could get.
It could’ve been hours or minutes oryearsbefore the tight, hot need in the pit of my stomach became too much to ignore, the tension in my thighs bordering on painful.
“Gonna,” I whispered, head too light for any more information, but Felix nodded.
“Me too,” he gasped, back arching. “Let go.”
