Ryan nodded, positive that he would. He’d had the time of his life just now.
“Good,” Oscar responded, moving both of his hands to Ryan’s stomach and splaying his fingers wide. It felt possessive, but Ryan really didn’t mind that at all.
He wanted to be Oscar’s. He couldn’t imagine being anyone else’s.
“Feel better?” Oscar asked.
“Yeah,” Ryan said, finally getting his tongue to work again. “Yeah, I feel better.”
The sensation of Oscar’s spent cock slipping out of him made Ryan’s breath hitch, his body taking a moment to adjust to the sudden absence. Oscar swooping down to kiss him made him forget all about it in the next second, though.
He hummed into Oscar’s mouth, his heart doing giddy little flips the entire time. The excitement of getting to have Oscar—getting tokeephim—didn’t feel likely to fade anytime soon.
“You think I could be your boyfriend?” Oscar asked, grinning down at Ryan.
Ryan burst into laughter. “I think I could go for that,” he said, grinning right back so hard it made his cheeks hurt.
Whatever else life was going to throw at them, Ryan was confident now that they could weather it. He’d always thought he’d ended up at the sanctuary for a reason, and he knew now that this was it.
The world wasn’t so awful. There were people around him who valued him. Loved him, even.
The fact that one of them was Oscar made Ryan the luckiest man on Earth, as far as he was concerned. He hadn’t realized he was looking for him, but now that he’dfoundhim, he knew they were meant for each other.
“I guess a good boyfriend would start running the shower so it’s warm when you get up, huh?”
Ryan grinned again, happy to be spoiled a little if Oscar was in the mood to do it. “I’m not saying no.”
Oscar pecked him on the lips, backed off an inch, and then kissed him again, lingering for two heartbeats this time, a kiss filled with longing and promise and maybe just the tiniest trace of lust.
A second round in the shower seemed to be where Ryan’s future was headed.
And after that? Wherever Oscar wanted to be was fine by him.
