“I didn’t hurt you?” Oz asked. Right back to being a mild-mannered gentleman as soon as he’d come.
That was actually kind of sweet.
“Not in any way I don’t fully approve of. I’m gonna have a couple of bruises after that.”
“Me too,” Oz pointed out. “You’re surprisingly strong.”
“All my fitness comes from sex,” Seth said. That wasn’t even a lie. “What do they say? Save a horse, ride a cowboy.”
Oz chuckled, resting his weight against Seth to hold him up against the wall. “Not a real cowboy.”
“You’ve got the hat,” Seth responded. “I need to sit down.”
Before Seth could say anything else, Oz lifted him clear off the ground and carried him to the bed, setting him down on the end of it.
Seth blinked at him for a few seconds, his brain taking a moment to catch up to what had just happened. “Show off,” he said once he regained the power of speech.
Oz nodded, apparently not bothered by being called that at all. “No one’s perfect.”
Seth shrugged. “You’re pretty close so far. I’m gonna need a nap before round two.”
Oz snorted, rolling the condom he’d worn off, tying it, and throwing it in the waste basket to the side of the bed. “I’m spent for at least an hour or so. Not that you’re not hot, just that that was…”
“Intense,” Seth finished for him. “Good intense.”
“Yeah. Good intense,” Oz agreed, flopping down onto the mattress. “Hot,” he added.
“Definitely hot.” Seth licked his lips. He was okay with being sore in the morning for sex like that.
Especially if they were doing it again.
Chapter Three
The moment Oz opened his eyes, the light shining through the window seemed to hit him right in the frontal lobe. He’d stayed up too late last night with Seth, and now he was up too early.
Nine a.m. checkout times on a Sunday were an act of sadism.
Oz groaned as he rolled out of bed, stretching muscles he hadn’t used in a while. Aside from the headache, he felt pretty good. It had been a while since he’d had a steady boyfriend, and he’d missed sex.
He’d missed other things, too. The companionship, the intimacy, having someone else organize food sometimes… but sex was something he actually had time for. He probably needed to get laid a whole lot more often.
Seth was still fast asleep, tangled up in the blankets. His cock was on full display, half-hard and resting against his thigh.
If Seth had been his boyfriend and he knew he was okay with it, Oz couldn’t have resisted taking a picture. He looked peaceful. Sweet, even.
He probably didn’t want to be thought of as sweet. Not that it was any of Oz’s business, but Seth seemed like the kind of man who wanted to be taken seriously for once. He also seemed smart and it sounded like his job was unfulfilling, so Oz could see why. Aside from needing his own career to live, it was nice not to feel as though he’d only gotten to where he had because it had been handed to him.
For Seth, it really had been handed to him. For anyone who was even reasonably intelligent, that had to be difficult to deal with.
Seth was likely a very capable man, if he’d ever had the chance to prove himself. It was sad that he hadn’t.
But again, none of Oz’s business. He was hardly qualified to give out life advice to a practical stranger. Even if the practical stranger was really cute. And now technically one of his relatives.
Maybe that should have been weird, but it didn’t really seem that way. He’d only met the guy yesterday.
That didn’t mean he wouldn’t give him hell about being his new little brother-in-law if he got the chance.
