“I actually eat like this all the time,” Seth explained when he was about halfway through the remainder of Oz’s omelet. “My dad only gives me a small allowance, but he also covers my rent and all my bills, including my food expenses. Besides, like I said, bored rich kid. Eating and fucking are things I can get away with doing without bringing shame on the family name.”
“Screwing your way through New York isn’t bringing shame on the family name?” Oz raised an eyebrow. He didn’t personally think it was anything to be ashamed of, but his own parents would have hated him if word of his sex life ever got back to them.
Thankfully, it never had. Not that it was nearly as exciting or active as Seth’s sounded.
“Dad likes having a playboy in the family.” Seth shrugged. “Even a gay one. I’ve kept the spotlight off my sister, and now he’s been able to marry her off to some other rich assholes. No offence.”
“None taken, they are assholes. Hell, I’m an asshole.” Oz shrugged.
Seth chuckled at that. “You’re a sweetheart. Your parents kinda sound like assholes. Mason seems okay. I don’t feel as though I’m going to have to learn how a shotgun works to defend my sister’s honor.”
“For what it’s worth, Emma seemed sweet. I like her. I can’t wait to be a doting uncle.” Oz smiled. He’d never thought of himself as a baby person, but he liked the idea of getting to play with someone else’s kids for a couple of hours at a time.
“She’s a much nicer person than I am, but she’s had her moments. We were spoiled,” Seth said.
“You’re very self-aware.” Oz was surprised by just how aware of his circumstances Seth was. He’d met a lot of rich kids in his life, and Seth wasn’t like any of them.
Well, the bossiness was still there, but the rest of it…
Seth seemed sonormal. Or not normal, exactly, but like he was trying really hard not to be a complete asshole. That won him a lot of points, in Oz’s book.
“I have to be,” Seth said, finishing his last bite of Oz’s omelet. “Or I’d become one of them.”
He sat back, sighing a deep, satisfied sigh, and closed his eyes. His hand fell lightly on his stomach as he shifted to make himself comfortable.
Now that he wasn’t begging for Oz’s cock, he was adorable. Not that Oz had minded the begging. He was still processing how hot that had been. Being so obviously wanted had done all kinds of good things for him.
He didn’t usually get to feel like that, and he was just now realizing how much he liked it. He’d had a lot of sex that felt like at least one of them was completing a chore. Seth hadn’t felt like that at all.
“So… you don’t actually use that dildo, right?” Oz asked. He hadn’t been able to get the thought out of his mind since he’d found it.
Seth snorted. “Such an innocent.” He grinned, opening his eyes again. “It’s not… I don’t just shove it up my ass totally unprepared. It’s not as big as it looks, either. It’s only two and a half inches across at the base.”
Oz wanted to argue that there wasn’t anythingonlyabout two and a half inches, but he’d never had anything bigger than an index finger up his ass, so he didn’t really know. Maybe it was the kind of thing that got easier with practice.
“But also, I brought it with me mostly for the benefit of the TSA officer who had to scan my bag. The look on his face was amazing.”
That made more sense. Seth seemed like exactly the kind of person who’d do that, without any shame at all.
“You were more than big enough for me,” Seth said. “Seriously. I don’t want you to go away today worried that I was faking or whatever.”
“I’m not worried,” Oz lied. He had started to wonder if maybe Seth was being polite, though he didn’t seem like the kind of man who’d be nice to spare someone else’s feelings. On the other hand, they were technically family now. They’d eventually run into each other again, and he wouldn’t have wanted bad blood between them.
Oz was inclined to believe him, though.
“Top three,” Seth said. “I mean that. The other two didn’t take me to breakfast, either, so for overall quality of experience, you’re miles ahead of the competition. Plus, I could listen to you talk all day.”
Oz laughed at that. He couldn’t see what Seth would gain by being insincere, so he shoved aside the rest of his doubts and decided to enjoy the compliment.
It was a shame Seth wasn’t from around here. It would have been nice to get to know him better.
“Since we’re asking hugely personal questions, your name isn’t actually Oz, is it?” Seth asked before Oz could finish that thought.
“It’s not my legal name,” Oz agreed. “It’s short for Austin.”
Seth raised an eyebrow. “And you live in…”
“Austin.” Oz smiled wryly. “Believe me, I’m not the only Austin from Austin. But everyone calls me Oz. Personally and professionally. And I’d like to keep it that way.”
