I scrunch up my face when the heat surges, barreling right to my core. Nate’s hands grip me harder, guiding me through it as his own release follows.
My legs shake, and my hips move erratically until the very last feeling of pleasure leaves my body.
“Fuck yeah, Mads.” His voice is rough, nearly breaking, as I feel his penis jerking under his swim trunks. “So fucking beautiful when you come all over me.”
I collapse against him, still trembling, my breaths shallow.
“Did you? Was that?”
He nods, wrapping his arms tightly around me, and kisses my temple.
Oh. My. God.
“How do you feel?” he whispers against my head. “Are you okay?”
“Perfect.”
He hums, brushing hair from my face. “So you liked it? You know I didn’t expect that. I was happy just kissing.”
“I know.” I trace lazy circles along his chest, reveling in how safe and cherished he makes me feel. “And, yeah, it felt…really good.”
“Same.” I can hear his smile, but soon after, a long, shaky breath leaves him.
“What’s wrong?” I murmur.
“It’s time to go, Mads,” he sighs. “I hate having to leave so quickly after sharing that, but we can’t get caught.”
I groan. “Now?”
“Yeah.” He sits up, helping me untangle myself from him so we can quickly get dressed.
“Tomorrow we leave here at noon. Don’t forget.”
“How many times are you gonna remind me?” I tease, hoping he doesn’t hear the nervous edge in my voice.
“Just making sure you remember. I can’t wait for you to meet my family.”
I fake a smile. “Me too.”
“Okay.” He takes my hand. “Now, let’s hope Mase doesn’t realize what we’ve been up to.”
My heart drops, a sense of nausea hits me hard and fast. “Oh god, is he going to be able to tell, Nate?”
“Kidding.”He isn’t.“Let’s go, babe. We’ll be fine.”
Doubtful.

My cabin doorflies open and in walks my best friend.
“Jesus, finally!” I snap as Addie waltzes in like she owns the place. I need her to help me get ready for lunch with Nate’s family.
I’m kinda losing it over here.
“You know, I’ve learned something about you.” Addie walks through my cabin, grabbing my Diet Coke, before lying down on Ashley’s bed. “My sweet Southern girl is a bit of a drama queen and is freaking grouchy when she’s stressed.”
