“My sister. She tried reaching out to Alex a few years back, to reconnect, but it didn’t last long. Louise put a stop to it.”

“What is that bitch’s problem?” I huffed.

“Jealousy,” he said, simply. “She wanted to be number one, and my Dad never gave her the time of day.”

I snorted, rolling my eyes. “Would you? She’s a skank ass whore. Especially around Peter. Alex was always embarrassed having to clean her drunk and high ass up after a bender.”

Dempsey shrugged. “I guess she never felt loved.”

“I guess not,” I replied. “She’s got another kid, you know?”

His eyes shot over to me. “What?”

I nodded. “A daughter. I can’t remember her name for the life of me, but she was born when Alex was ten. She was just a kid when we were dating back then, and then all of a sudden, she’s living with family in Wales.”

“Fuck,” he ran his hands over his head. “I had no idea.”

“It’s not your dad’s,” I told him. “She tried to make Peter jealous from what Alex told me. It was anotherbiker’s, but no idea who it was. I don’t even think Louise knows.”

The sound of Neal’s voice bellowing behind the door had Dempsey jumping up. He climbed in beside me, his hands on my bare stomach.

“Forgive me,” he whispered. “I have to do this.”

The door opened just as Dempsey’s mouth found mine. I squirmed under the intense kiss, his hand gripping my hip.

“Oh, pardon my intrusion,” I heard Neal say, a smirk in his tone. I wanted to throw up. Dempsey’s mouth moved from mine and turned to look at Neal.

“What is it?” Dempsey barked over at him.

“I can wait,” he said, his eyes glittering with lust, my stomach was threatening to unleash on this very bed.

Dempsey tensed, realising Neal wasn’t going anywhere. He let go of me and got off the bed.

“Never mind,” he said. “I’ll be back later.”

I watched as Dempsey left me alone with Neal, shooting me a sympathetic look before he left. He’d tried to cover for me, but Neal was a sadistic bastard.

“I see you’re still dressed.”

I looked down at my near naked body and wanted to bite out something vicious, but I held my tongue.

“No bruises either.”

“I don’t bruise easily,” I spat out. “The ink covers it.”

He shrugged. “You always were tougher than Sheri. Maybe I should have fixated on you instead.”

I sneered at him, earning me a laugh.

“Probably not, huh?”

“You wouldn’t have broken me.”

“Yes, I would have,” he said, coming closer, his hand making its way down my bare thigh. I held onto the sob that was making its way through my throat as his greasy hands made their way down to my crotch. He skated over my panties which had stayed on so far, thankfully. “You think Sheri was always as weak as she is now? I broke that filly, and I’ll break her again just as I make her watch as I end her loverboy’s life.”

“She’s Cooper’s, not yours.”

“No, darlin’, she’s not. Don’t worry though, when I have her again, I’ll keep you around. You can both make me a happy man.”
