“Is that a moon moth? Can I see it?” Drovo craned his neck to try to see what was in Axon’s hand.
“Here you go, you bug lover.” Axon teased as he extended his hand toward the dryad.
“What? They’re cute!” Drovo protested. Then he transformed one of his fingers into a short branch for the moth to rest on. “Hey, little one,” he cooed at the moth.
“Axon has the best senses of everyone. He can sense any creature half a forest away.” Tarak informed me as Drovo lifted up his hand and watched the fluffy moth fly away.
“Everyone is so amazing,” I agreed. I just barely finished my sentence when a wad of dirt hit Tarak in the chest.
“What about you, Savrix? Are you going to show off your shifter form as well?” Rhaz stood on two pawed feet with his hands on hips. He was covered in light brown fur, his claws replaced his finger nails and furry pointed ears stood on top of his head. I noticed a long fuzzy tail had replaced his thinner blue one. This man was an honest to god honey badger shifter.
“Maybe I will.” Tarak grinned and shifted into his tanuki form. His abdomen and chest stayed his normal blue color, but his head, back and shoulders were covered in a dark brown fur. He had a long furry tail and clawed paws for feet. I loved the little furry pointed ears that stood behind his white horns.
As far as I could tell Tarak and his men’s shifting ability was more of a half shift than a full shift. It was almost like I was witnessing the middle of an evolutionary cycle. I wondered if thenext generation would be able to fully shift into animals instead of being hybrids.
Tarak lunged at Rhaz, who let out a yelp and tried to run away. Tarak tackled him easily and wrestled him to the ground. It was impressive and I had to admit it was a little bit hot. I wouldn’t mind being wrestled to the ground by Tarak in his shifter form…
“Alright! Alright!” Rhaz grunted. Tarak got up with a smirk on his face and offered a hand to the honey badger shifter. Rhaz did not accept his help, instead he got up on his own and dusted himself off. “You won this time,” Rhaz grinned.
We continued walking for about five steps when Axon held up his hand in the universal sign forstop. Everyone froze in place and I felt Tarak’s tail wrap around my leg. He didn’t acknowledge the gesture and I wasn’t even sure if he realized he was doing it.
“Something is coming our way,” the spider shifter commented.
Drovo closed his eyes and put his hand on a nearby tree. “I feel the hooves of many creatures walking over the tree roots.”
Axon pointed his nose in the air and sniffed. “Jagwas, a whole herd of them.”
“How close?” Tarak asked.
“Too close. We must run,” Axon advised.
“Separate into pairs and run in different directions. Take cover until the jagwas lose your scent. We will meet up again outside Orsu’s den.” Tarak was an efficient leader, able to think on his feet and gave orders quickly.
Drovo and Lumod took off in a sprint to the right while Rhaz and Axon ran to the left. Tarak, who was still in his tanuki form, threw me over his shoulder and ran straight ahead.
The world turned upside down once again and I watched as the trees zipped past me. Tarak’s pawed feet were swift, barely touching the ground before sprinting forward again.
Soon I heard the sound of rushing water and I was jostled when Tarak took a sharp right turn.
The sound of a nearby waterfall got louder and louder until Tarak’s feet splashed through the water as he ran. I was drenched as we passed under the waterfall and Tarak set me down against a hidden rock wall.
I opened my mouth to ask him a question when he put a finger over my lips to silence me. His touch was warm and gentle and ignited a fire in my belly.
The herd of animals approached our location. The stomps of their hooves could be heard as they passed the waterfall.
I held my breath so as to not make a sound. When the last animal passed us I finally let myself breathe again. Once Tarak relaxed his shoulders I knew we were safe.
He held up a hand for me to stay while he checked our surroundings. When he returned, stepping through the waterfall he was a sight to behold. He pushed his wet hair back and looked like a god with his shiny wet rippling muscles.
“It’s safe,” he assured me. I was so lost admiring his body that it took his words a moment to register.
“Oh, that’s great.” I gave him a sheepish smile. Tarak returned my smile and held out his hand and I gladly took it. His tail swished happily in the air as he led me out into a shallow lagoon. The water was green with purple plants swaying at the bottom in a watery dance.
Tarak took off his pack and pulled out a disc of soap. “We will be safer if we cover our scent.” He then proceeded to remove his pants and set them on the grass next to his pack. I shouldn’t look. I really shouldn’t, but I couldn’t help myself. As he turned I got a glimpse of a very large blue and purple ridged cock. Theridges continued up his abdomen where a human man’s ‘happy trail’ would be. Interesting. I wondered what those would feel like? I found myself imagining my clit being stimulated by his happy trail of ridges as his large mushroom head of a cock slid in and out of me. My thoughts were disrupted as Tarak walked deeper into the water, hiding his package from me.
Get it together Gabby! This was an alien male who had been very kind to me and very generous with providing me protection and shelter. That didn’t mean he liked me beyond friendship and I certainly shouldn’t be ogling his penis while he wasn’t looking.
“Gab-bae?” My name came out as a question. Damn it, was he looking at me looking at him?
