“You want to play games, baby? We can play.”

It was the only warning he gave. In the next second, Coop wrapped his hands around her small hips and picked her up, tossing her back onto the bed.

Mac’s blonde hair splayed out on the blanket beside her head. Her perfect, perky breasts called to him, the firm flesh begging for more of his touch. She was like an angelic temptress, her beauty rendering him momentarily speechless.

Her eyes darkened with the same heat threatening to burn him alive, and Coop knew this first time was going to be quick. To help stave off his impeding explosion, he decided to leave his jeans on…for now.

Reaching down, he curled his fingers around her satin waistband but stopped. As much as he wanted this—wantedher—he had to make sure she understood.

“Why are you stopping?” Her brows scrunched together.

Coop stared down at his partner. His…everything.

Releasing the elastic, he crawled onto the bed and knelt above her. Running his knuckles over her cheek, he held the side of her neck and leaned down.

With the softest of kisses, he swept his tongue into her mouth. That first taste had been all the proof he needed. There would never be another for him. Mac was the one.

It was too soon to reveal that sort of declaration, but he did need her to know…

“Some lines.” His lips brushed against hers as he spoke. “Some lines can’t be uncrossed.” Coop pulled back enough to see her eyes. He needed to be looking into them when he said this next part. “We do this, it changes everything. I need to know you’re okay with that.”

“We’re both shirtless and you’re lying on top of me.” She smirked. “I mean, you just had your tongue down my throat, so I’m pretty sure a line has already been crossed.”

He smiled but got serious again. “I mean it, Mac. You need to be sure.”

Looking as serious as he’d ever seen her, Mac used both hands to frame his face. “I am,” she assured him with a whisper. Then she kissed him.

Having gotten the answer he needed, Coop took over the kiss. They tasted and nipped. Their tongues dancing and taking.

Beneath him, Mac spread her legs wide. She lifted her hips, pressing her lower body to his. Grinding her thinly covered sex against the rough denim stretched tightly over his aching shaft.

Coop groaned, the sound traveling from his mouth to hers. Unable to wait any longer, he ripped his lips away and began leaving a trail of rough kisses along her jaw and neck…and lower.

He licked and nibbled his way down to that damn waistband, but this time he didn’t stop. Sliding his fingers into each side, he slid both the pajama bottoms and her panties down together.

Mac lifted her lower half from the mattress, making it easier for him to remove the items. Once they were freed, he tossed them aside, not caring where they landed. The only thing on Coop’s mind was her.

Looking at her. Touching her. Tasting her. And filling her with enough pleasure she’d only ever want to be with him.

Only me.

Coop stood at the edge of the bed, his pulse racing from that very first glance. In all his dreams combined, he’d never imagined a sight more beautiful than the one lying before him.

He glanced up, thankful as fuck when he found the same, confident look staring back at him. If he’d seen even a hint of hesitation he would’ve stopped.

Would’ve suffered from the worst case of blue balls in the history of blue balls, but he would’ve stopped. For her.

I’d do anything for her.

Having found nothing but raw, primal need, he got busy giving her what he knew she wanted. Wrapping his hands around her ankles, Coop carefully pulled Mac toward him.

The normally take-charge woman didn’t fight him or try to gain control of the situation. She simply lifted her arms up over her head, letting them rest there in a lazy, relaxed way.

His eyes traveled from her face to her breasts and flat, toned abs, and beyond. When he got his first glimpse of her sex, Coop’s cock twitched behind his zipper. The damn thing nearly exploded right then and there.

“You’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” he whispered softly. “I could look at you for days, but there’s something else I have to do.”

A corner of Mac’s mouth lifted. “What’s that?”
