“You may not like it now, but I guarantee you’ll be screaming my name in pleasure before long,” he promises. “I’ll have you begging me for more. Just wait.”

With that, he releases my thigh and exits the car, leaving me shaken and breathless in his wake. I have no doubt Silvo intends to make good on his word.

I just pray I’m strong enough to resist him when he does.

SILVO

Itake a deep breath, watching Carmela glare at me from across the private jet. The tension in the air is palpable as she stubbornly refuses to acknowledge my presence, arms crossed over her chest.

“You can’t ignore me forever,” I say, my voice low and even. I reach out, grasping her arm and pulling her toward me. She resists at first, but I’m stronger, and soon she finds herself perched precariously on my lap.

“Let go of me!” She hisses, her body tense and vibrating with fury. I can see the pulse throbbing in her neck, betraying the arousal I know she’s trying to conceal.

“Not until you stop acting like a petulant child,” I murmur, my hand sliding around her waist to hold her in place. “We’re in this together, whether you like it or not.”

Carmela’s eyes flash with defiance. “I never asked for this,” she spits. “You and your family forced this on me. How dare you act like I should just accept it?”

“Accept it?” I force her closer until our faces are mere inches apart. “I think you’re forgetting that I didn’t have a choice in this either. But I’m done fighting it.” My hand slides up her thigh, eliciting a shiver that she tries in vain to hide. “And I have a feeling you are too.”

Carmela’s breath catches, her lips parting as she searches my gaze. The fire in her eyes has been replaced by a smoldering heat. “I’ll never accept this,” she whispers.

“We’ll see about that,” I capture her lips in a kiss.

They yield under mine, her resistance crumbling as a soft moan escapes her throat. The sound sends a thrill of satisfaction through me, knowing that despite her defiance, she can’t resist the attraction between us.

My tongue delves into her mouth to claim her more fully. Carmela’s fingers slide into my hair, gripping the strands as she presses herself against me. I can feel the curves of her body molding to mine, igniting a hunger that threatens to consume me.

Breaking the kiss, I trail my lips along her jaw, nipping at the sensitive skin below her ear. “Is this bringing back memories, Carmela?” I murmur. “Are you thinking about me fucking you? The way you felt writhing beneath me, the way I made you come undone?”

Carmela shudders, her nails digging into my shoulders. “Silvo...” she breathes, and the sound of my name on her lips is nearly my undoing.

When our lips meet again, the kiss turns desperate. My hands roam her body, exploring her curves and seeking out the most sensitive spots. Carmela arches into my touch, her hips rolling in a way that makes me groan.

“Tell me you want me,” I growl against her lips. “Tell me you need me as much as I need you.”

Carmela hesitates, a flicker of uncertainty in her eyes. But then she’s kissing me again, her tongue tangling with mine in a dance of surrender.

I smirk against her mouth as Carmela breaks away from our heated kiss, her chest heaving and eyes flashing with a mix of desire and anger.

“You’re an asshole,” she hisses, shoving at my chest. But I don’t let her go, my hands gripping her hips.

A low chuckle rumbles in my throat. “An asshole you can’t resist,” I murmur, trailing my fingers up her thigh.

Carmela shivers even as she glares at me. “Don’t flatter yourself,” she snaps. “I’m not some swooning damsel ready to fall into your arms.”

“No, you’re not,” I agree, my voice dropping to a husky whisper. “You’re a fiery little minx who likes to play hard to get. But we both know the truth, don’t we?”

I lean in, my lips brushing the shell of her ear. “You want me, Carmela. You crave my touch, my kiss, the way I make you feel. Denying it only makes you want it more.”

Carmela sucks in a sharp breath, her fingers curling into my shirt. “You’re delusional,” she says, but her voice wavers.

“Am I?” I pull back to meet her gaze, my eyes boring into hers. “Then tell me to stop. Push me away.”

For a long moment, we stare at each other, the tension crackling between us. I can see the war raging in Carmela’s eyes, the battle between her pride and her desire.

Then, with a muttered curse, she grabs my face and crashes her lips against mine again. I growl in satisfaction, my arms wrapping around her waist to pull her flush against me.
