“I love you too, Reid. You’re everything.”

At the last sigh of my whispered words he moves within me, so deliciously slow that I think I’m going to go mad with need, but I don’t hurry him. I refuse to. I want this perfect moment to last forever as we both climb higher and higher, whispering sweet nothings, lips touching, his smile against my smile as we reach our peak and both tumble over, my body clutching at his, trying to keep him part of me a little while longer while his cock pulses inside me, over and over filling me with warmth. It’s perfect. He’s perfect. We’re perfect and it’s the perfect start to our new life.

Chapter 25

Switch

“You know, y’all may be self confessed good guys, but you’re 1% through and through.” Gallows says with a smirk.

“Fuck off. We’re a motorcycle club, everything is totally above board,” Rider says as he plops his ass down on the porch steps as we gather to send off Gallows and Mercy.

“You have Bratva allies -”

“Family, thank you very much,” Ana says with a wiggle of her brows at Roman and then Marx who rolls his eyes.

“Bratva family. You have badass Ol Ladies, and whatever you call those two,” Mercy says, waving at Pops and Chewy.

“Our secret weapons, huh babe?” Rhodie says throwing his arm around Chewy’s shoulders and pressing a kiss to the top ofher head. Chewy shrugs and pops a candy in her mouth while petting Chomper with her foot.

“Anyway, I’ll never get the vision of all those fucked up bodies lying in the driveway outta my head. Seriously, that shit was wild.”

“You’re welcome.” Pops grins from his place on the porch next to Mama Debs and Elio.

I slap Gallows on the shoulder and pull him into me. “Thank you, Grayson. I appreciate your help, cousin.”

“I would say, call me anytime, but I’m not sure I’m cut out for the shit y’all get yourselves into.” He chuckles as he pulls back.

Mercy steps into my arms, slapping me on the back, “You can call me anytime, I don’t mind coming back.” Gallows glowers at us before grabbing his sister by the back of her cut and pulling her toward their bikes.

“Owe you a marker, brother,” Marx calls out, stepping up to Gallows and offering his hand.

Gallows holds his gaze for a moment before dipping his chin. “I’ll hold you to that. You have skills I may need someday.”

“Anytime, Prez.” Marx smiles before stepping back.

It feels good, looking around at my family, all my family as we ready ourselves to head back home. Small hands rest against my back before slipping around my waist and I tip my head back, chuckling when her small hands pat my belly.

“Reid, when we get home, ah, would you like to stay the night?” I hook her small body with one of my arms and drag her to the front of my body where I can see her beautiful brown eyes.

“Didn’t you know, babe? You’ve claimed me heart and soul, woman. That means I go where you go. Where you lay your head, so do I.”

She stares up at me and the noise of my brothers and their Ol Ladies and kids all melt into the background. My family not somuch, they’re a noisy bunch, but still, all I see is Joy and the wide smile growing on her face.

“Well then, it’s a good thing I got the house between yours and the clubhouse then. We’ll be able to get the brothers to help you move your stuff on their way home.”

I look toward my brothers who all froze when Joy mentioned moving my shit and now they’re all looking really busy.

“Well, I think that’s our cue to go,” Dex says pulling Marx into a man hug and rounding up his men.

Some will be travelling with the Ol Ladies and kids, their wounds not healed enough to make the ride home. Especially Chef who is still hunched a little and will be for a while now. Luckily for him, nothing important was hit, but he’ll still feel like shit. Even more so because the woman he loves is the one who had to patch his ass back up and he still hasn’t found the balls to grovel at her feet. Stupid fucker.

“They’ll find their way back together,” Joy says, watching Sage’s gaze on Chef as he gingerly climbs into the Keep SUV.

“You think so?”

“Yeah. Look around. Every couple here is meant to be. No matter how hard or dangerous things are, they managed to find each other and they’re all better for it.”

“Like us?”
