“Yes,” I whisper, going up onto my toes. “I will. I love you, Gabe.”

His smile is slow and soft. “I was worried I’d never hear that from you.” He drops a kiss on my lips. “I love you too, Syd.Te amo.So goddamned much.”

He kisses me again, and again, each deeper than the one before, and then his hands journey down to my butt and he’s taking my weight as I wrap my legs around his waist. Backing me into the wall, he nuzzles at my throat.

“I promise to be the guy you deserve from now on. Come home with me today?”

I clasp him tight, my heart welling over with affection for the man who’s both my lover and my best friend. “Will you drive me to work on your motorcycle tomorrow?”

“I’ll take you anywhere you want. On one condition.” Drawing back, he meets my eyes. “Me and my bike are the only things that go between your thighs from now on.”

A laugh bursts from me, and I shake my head, grinning. “Of course, you silly man.” His eyes light up and then darken as I grind against him. “Now take me home, and show me what you’re made of.” To my surprise, he starts toward the exit, still holding me. I swat his shoulder. “Put me down!”

“No.” He palms my ass. “I’m finally having my moment. Remember when Jase carried Lena out of here after his championship fight?”

“Yeah.” I’m not sure where this is going.

“I wanted to do the same to you,” he confesses. “And now I finally get to. Let me have my moment.”

“Okay.” Relaxing into his arms, I rest my head on his shoulder. It’s a miracle he can even walk with me in this position. We pass a number of people who look curiously over their shoulders. I don’t care. I’m too happy to care.

“As far as I’m concerned, we’re going to have a lot more moments, so don’t go thinking this will be the only one,” I caution.

“I wouldn’t have it any other way,mi amor.”

EPILOGUE

Devon

It’s eight a.m. the Sunday following Gabe’s epic fight and I arrive at the gym, as per usual. Where else would I be on a Sunday morning? I spend more time in this place than I do in my own home. Although to be fair, if my place was as nice as Jase’s or Gabe’s, I might spend more time there. As it is, I haven’t proven myself as much as they have, which means I’ve won less money, have fewer sponsorships, and spend my nights in a nice apartment only a few blocks from here rather than in a mansion.

Pushing the door open, I step inside, expecting the place to be empty. Seth’s been sleeping in his office lately—I’m not even sure if he has an apartment anymore—but he usually doesn’t rise until late morning on the day after an event. Curiously, he’s in the octagon at the end of the gym, sparring with someone I haven’t seen before. I blink as my eyes adjust to the light. Seth’s sparring partner is average height, lean, and light on their feet. As he throws a punch, his partner pivots away, hair whipping in an arc.

Wait—hair?

Removing my shoes, I edge closer to get a better look. The stranger has toned muscles, small breasts, and a mouthwateringly firm ass. It’s a woman. The hottest, fiercest woman I’ve seen. Her face is a mask of concentration. Hazel eyes, strawberry blonde hair that’s tied back, and perfect golden skin, like she’s spent a lot of time in the sun.

She’s wearing boxing gloves and elbow pads, as is Seth, and they’re sparring muay thai style, with only stand-up striking. As I watch, spellbound, she practically dances across the mat in graceful movements that end with a fake and the solid delivery of a knee just below the center of his ribs. But that damage isn’t enough for this warrior princess. She follows it up with an elbow to his face, in the perfect place to split the skin if her arms weren’t padded. The timer beeps shrilly, ending their round, and she bumps fists with Seth, the edges of her mouth lifting, her cheeks flushed with triumph.

Oh, fuck. I’m a goner.

This girl is fucking glorious.

My strides eat up the distance to the octagon.

“Hey, Seth,” I call. “Who’s the newbie?”

Her smile twists into a scowl and hell if that doesn’t make me crazier about her. She’s got wildness in her, the same as me.

“Dev.” He glances at the clock. “Weren’t expecting you yet.” He jumps down, then turns and waits for her to follow. “I guess now is as good a time as any.”

It isn’t until they’re standing side by side in front of me that discomfort worms its way into my gut. Seth and this beautiful woman—the new owner of my heart—have exactly the same shade of hair, and identical stand-offish expressions.

Oh, shit. Surely not.

“This is my sister, Harley,” he tells me, slinging an arm around her shoulders.

Oh, hell.No.
