Okay, yeah, now I’m pissed.

I roll my forehead against his, growling low in my throat the same way he did. “No.”

He throws me down on the wall, his frustration evident when his hands leave my chest, and he steps back, shoving both palms through his hair. His finger trembles when he points at me, and even though I’m pissed, I do admire the lengths he would go to protect her.

“I fucking told you to stay away from her.” Tyler’s words come out cold, as icy as the lake when I jumped in to save his best friend.

Crossing my arms over my chest casually, sucking on my bottom lip, a low snigger rolls through the length of my throat.

Fuck him.

“Your warning came a little too late, my man,” I state dryly.

A set of heels clangs down the tunnel as Harmony runs toward us.

“What the fuck is going on?” she asks, worried.

I keep my eyes set on Tyler, and he does the very same.

“Go to the girls, Angel,” Asher says, curling his arm around her waist and pressing a kiss to her temple. She doesn’t protest, though she does cast her green eyes around at all of us before moving down the tunnel.

When she’s gone, Tyler flies forward, pulling me off the wall and slamming me back against the concrete with a crunch.

His nerve.

The breath in my lungs dissipates from the impact, though only for a moment before he pushes his forehead to mine again.

“If you fucking hurt her-”

I cut him off before he can finish spewing his bullshit. “You already did a good job at that, didn’t you?Isn’t she the one you left?” I ask, my voice deadly.Yeah, motherfucker, I do hear things.I’ve always heard his guilt. Though, I didn’t realize the same girl who caught my attention was well, her, the best friend he left behind.

I can practically see the steam fuse out of his fucking ears, and I swear his inky pupils shake with rage.

Good.

I decide to rub a little more salt in the wound. “I just picked up the broken pieces you left her in,” I finish.

“Oh, fuck.” That was Chase.

I watch Asher shake his head, dropping his chin.

I know it’s a low dig, but I’m fucking pissed and want him to fuck off so I can explain this shit to Cherry.

Ty pushes his forehead harder into mine, and I think my skull might fucking crack from the pressure, but it’s quickly gone when Asher wrenches him back and shoves him away. Ty continues to stare at me, not saying another word, though his malevolent eyes do all the talking. He walks backward when Asher pushes him away, moving with him, but my eyes find their way over his head, locking ontoherglacial blues.

Cherry stands at the end of the narrow tunnel that leads to the dressing rooms, and Cameryn moves toward me with fury in each step. However, my eyes stay locked on Cherry’s. Shoving my hand into the pocket of my light denim jeans, I snatch up the blunt, push it between my lips, and light it up. I tilt my head backward, my skull connecting with the wall behind me as I prop one foot on the wall and exhale sharply through my nostrils.

Tyler walks toward Cameryn as she continues to pace down the tunnel, and I know her intense stride isn’t for him. It’s most fucking definitely for me.

Cherry told her.And her story isn’t wrong;it’s just the story she knows.

Chase falls back on the wall next to me, yet I keep my eyes on Cherry’s.

They’re vacant and hollow.

I did that to her.

“You want me to try to talk to her?” he asks. He’s talking about Cameryn when he lights up his own spliff.
