“Let’s do this!” I cheer, and for the first time ever, I’m extremely happy to have met Misti and I can’t wait to see where the night is going to bring us.

Bonfire
I lean my head back against the tree, inhaling my cigarette as I look up at the sky, trying to see if the stars are out tonight. The bonfire blazes in the clearing while more people arrive. I groan and grab the back of this freshman's neck, forcing her further down my length. “You really need to practice your sucking skills,” I grunt, but she swallows around me, letting me gag her.
“Much better. Now, let's see if you can make me cum,” I say, holding her head down. She thrashes a bit but gives up the fight, letting me control her movements. This fucking sucks, I think to myself, but when I hear footsteps approach, my head snaps towards the giggling, and that’s when I see her. I groan loudly to get her attention and my eyes collide with hazel ones. They widen for a second, then shelooks away and keeps on walking with Candace’s sister. I take another drag of my cigarette and look down at the girl on her knees. “I think that's enough for tonight,” I tell her, then release my hold on her. She pulls off me and gasps as she gets to her feet.
“You’re an asshole,” she whines, then wipes her mouth and stomps away. I laugh, tucking myself into my boxers and zipping up my jeans as I see Grayson walking with Kade.
Stomping my cigarette out, I walk over to them. “Yo, how was the game?” I ask Gray, and he rolls his eyes.
“We won but that cunty new girl needs to seriously learn her place,” he growls.Well, what did my little Petal do to the big bad wolf?
“Which new girl are you speaking of?” I ask, and Kade laughs.
“The big one. Rowyn, I think her name is,” he says, and the urge to call him out for the lie that just spilled from his lips has me tightening my fists.
“Yeah, that one. I say we play a little game with her tonight,” Gray says as we walk towards the clearing.
“And what exactly did she do that has your panties in a bunch?” I ask, and his eyes dart to mine.
“She was speaking to my mother of all people, then smirked at me which in turn had my motherreprimanding me in front of everyone,” he spits, and I laugh, which only makes him growl.
“The bitch needs to keep her mouth shut. Silence will do better for her,” Kade adds, and my eyes throw daggers his way. He’s such a fucking liar and he knows it, but I got something for his ass.
“At least Cynthia came to your game,” I say, knowing my words will set Grayson off further. His mom is a fashion designer in Paris and very rarely shows her support for anything Gray does, so hearing that she was at his game is a surprise. I can’t remember the last time I saw her. Speaking of which… “When was the last time you even saw her because I can’t pinpoint in the last three years her even being in the states,” I add, and I see his fists tightening at his sides. His jaw flexing and the vein in his neck rapidly beating.
“If you must know, I speak to her weekly, but I haven’t seen her since the night before we graduated high school,” he grits, and I know I’ve hit a nerve.
“Ahh, that’s right. It’s the same night that—” But he stops in his tracks and spins on me.
“Say it and I’ll break your fucking jaw,” he growls, and I put my hands up in surrender then look to Kade, who is whistling and trying to act like he had no part in that night. So, I keep walking even though Gray’s eyes blaze with anger as he stares medown. It doesn’t take much to get him going but it takes a lot to get him to stop.Fuck, I need a drink.
Walking to the kegs, I grab a solo cup, fill it, and then bring it to my lips and take a sip. I’m surprised it's not piss warm and that it’s nice and cold. Familiar giggles have my attention snapping behind me and I see Rowyn standing by the bonfire talking to some jerkoff I’ve never seen before. I grit my teeth and bring the cup up to my lips, chugging it down. I look away and refill the cup, then walk around the other side of the fire to get a better look. I find a stump to sit on and sip my beer while watching her. I can’t help but notice how uncomfortable she is standing there, fidgeting every couple of seconds and constantly pulling on her sweatshirt. She smiles politely at the guy, but her eyes keep drifting everywhere else but on him.Good.I don’t want someone else, especially some jerkoff, grasping her attention. I find my hand tightening around my cup when I see him tucking her hair behind her ear. His fingers lingering down her neck and shoulder. Her body stiffens when he takes her hand and leads her away from the bonfire. I finish my beer and throw the cup to the ground then dig in my pocket for a cigarette. Sparking it up, I take a deep inhale as I watch Rowyn disappear into the woods with that guy. My phone vibrates in my pocket and I take it out seeing I have a text from Dexter.
Dexter:

Me:

Dexter:
No.
This guy is a prick, but unfortunately, I need him.
