“Why would she care?”

“She wants you,” I told him, trying to hide my jealousy from him.

“And why would I want someone like her?” he asked, getting closer to me. “She’s skin and bones, and I’ve got you, looking like the only kind of snack I want to feast on for days. Do you know what the best part of it is?”

He was so close to my face, his breath in my ear, his scent overwhelming me. “What?”

“I can grab onto your hips and shove my face in between your legs and get my fill of your pussy, your thighs smashing against my head, holding me in place as you scream my name. Only you, Shona, can ever call me that. So she was right in a way…you are a liar. This conversation is not over.”

He grabbed my jaw and pulled my lips to his in a crushing kiss before he pushed off the wall and left me grasping onto the closest door to support me. How the hell could he always take my breath away?

My pussy was throbbing for his attention after his dirty words, and I begged for him to eat me out like he usually did when we snuck off together. The man may as well be a deep sea diver with the way he could stay buried in my pussy. I had timed him once, he’d eaten me out for twenty nine minutes andmultiple orgasms that had completely sent me into oversensitivity land, which I had needed to come down from before I could let him touch me again. He was perfect in so many ways, and that was why I needed to get away. I couldn’t fall for him. Even though I knew I already had, I didn’t want to admit it out loud or else I’ll never be free of him. I’ll never leave and give him a chance at a happy life.

I pushed off the wall and took a deep breath before I moved out of the clubhouse and outside to where Orla waited by her car. I needed air, and I needed to get away from Savage before I claimed him publicly and fucked up all my plans.

Savage

Rebel, Fury and Blaze stood around the sides of the room as Viper and I stood in front of the three men we’d snatched that we knew worked for Neal. The trail led us directly to them, so we knew they were plants. The only problem with that would be that they wouldn’t know too much, but hell, it wouldwarm up the blood for the war we were in the middle of.

Hawk and Bear stood behind us as we moved toward the first guy. Viper let him down from his bindings, and he fell to the cement floor knees first. The sharp scream that came out of him was cut off when Viper smacked him across the back with a pipe. He fell to the ground, his hands only just holding him up as he took in deep heaves of air.

“I don’t know anything,” he sobbed. “Please…he doesn’t tell us anything.”

“Who says we want answers?” I asked, kneeling down so he could look up at me. “I mean, we know who to go after and until we find him, we could just want to take our anger out on someone who thought it wise to help the idiot.”

“No, please.”

“Are you going to go with theI have a familycrap next?” I chuckled. “That don’t work on me.”

“Idohave a family,” he sobbed. “I had to do this to support them.”

Viper lost his patience and beat down on his back again. He grunted, his face slipping onto the cementfloor. I heard a definite break and when he looked back up, his nose was bleeding profusely. I couldn’t help but chuckle as Viper took out his rage on the guy on the ground. I moved over to one of the others. These two were blindfolded and were scared shitless judging from the deep heaving of their chests and the trembling of their legs from just hearing what was happening to their friend. Grabbing my blade off Rebel, I cut through his shirt and pulled it from his dangling body.

“Please, just tell us what you want to know,” he begged.

“I want to know what it sounds like when you’re in pain,” I said to him, which earned a snicker from the boys to my left.

“No…I can tell you things.”

I knew he couldn’t. These were henchmen, and would only know minor details. They wouldn’t have a clue where Neal was hiding out, but we would find out soon.

In the meantime, there was some fun to be had. A way to burn off our excess energy until we had word about Chains or a lead. I’d missed being homein Kilkenny, being able to see my woman, even if we refused to admit she was. I knew I’d be coming back here once my shit with the Nomads was done, but for now, my focus had to be on this piece of shit.

I slid my blade down his arms, leeching blood from his skin. He sucked in a breath, but didn’t scream or cry out. I admired that. I did the same to the other arm and moved to his bare stomach. He had a tattoo arching over his belly button of the wordMayhem. I chuckled, scratching my blade over that and scarring the tattoo.

“You’re not built for mayhem, buddy,” I said in his ear. “But I can see on your shoulder here there are a few names. I’m guessing kids.”

“Please, they don’t know about this.”

“Of course they don’t. They’re innocent, right? I’m sure your wife would be horrified to learn of why you leave the house at night under the guise of supporting your family. Did you know Shauna had a family too? Her own biological father sold her for his freedom, and you helped with that. Imagine if that were your daughter-”

I looked at the name and smiled. “Imagine if that had been Dominica that you sold.”

“I would never.”

“Did you not think it weird he was asking for your help with this?” I asked him, trailing my blade down his back, keeping him on edge. Viper was causing all sorts of noises to come out of his guy while the third guy hung, blindfolded, waiting for his turn. It was the ultimate punishment.

“I didn’t know who she was. I swear it.”
