“You want to know what I’m going to miss the most about this sweet little cunt?”
Her whine is breathless anddelicious.
“You were partially right, baby. It’s the taste of us together, but only because that means I’vefilled you up.” Andfuck, even talking about it has my balls drawing up. “That’s what I wanted the day I met you, you know. I wanted to put my babies in you, and I thought you were offering. I was so ready to get started, right then and there.”
She’s right on the edge, I can feel it. And I want to give her exactly what we both want.
“How many, Ellie? How many babies do you want? I need to know soon so we can get started, hmm? I want to make sure I have plenty of time to give you everything you want, sweet girl.”
My girl might be on the precipice of bliss, but she’s still with it enough to give me a cheeky grin.
“Six.”
My hips falter and miss a thrust before I regain my rhythm. “Six?”
“Yes,” she groans. “You asked. Six. Big Italian family. A kitchen full of laughter and love, with little feet running around. You’re right, we should probably get started. Fill me up, Teddy.Please.”
She’s coming, and I’m powerless against her wave of pleasure, joining her immediately and whispering nonsense into her ear as we both come down. I grab around on the couch until I find the blanket, and we burrow into it in the middle of the floor, unable to move an inch.
“Please say you can stay all weekend before I have to leave,” I whisper, hoping she can feel how much I need every second I can get before life gets even busier and more stressful than it already is.
“I can. I concocted a foolproof lie. I’m all yours until you leave.”
She nuzzles into my chest hair in her favorite way that makes me feel so damn special and sighs contentedly. I can’t help but have the last word, though. Moving a hand slowly between her legs, I carefully gather a bit of the wetness that’s seeped out and gentlypush it back in. When she looks up at me with a question in her eyes, I shrug and wink.
“It’s a good thing you’re staying all weekend, baby. Better chance for it to take.”
Chapter 20
Drinking my coffeeon Teddy’s balcony, I relish the brisk morning breeze. Summer is right around the corner, and with it comes temperatures straight from the depths of hell. The season change reminds me of another change coming into my life. The one that’s going to take my Teddy away for months, at least if they perform well.
I would be lying if the smallest part of me didn’t want them to get eliminated from the playoffs in the first round, but even acknowledging that brings extreme guilt. Not only is this Teddy’s goal, but my brothers’ as well. Nikki and Gabri have dreamed of winning the Cup all their lives, and even Leo would benefit from this. Coming onto a team that just won the Cup would also mean a ton for his career.
Teddy walks up behind me, wrapping me in his arms, and rests his chin on the top of my head. “What are you thinking about, sweet girl?”
“Just how beautiful it is outside.” I melt into his embrace as he gently sways us back and forth. It’s not what I’m really thinking about, but I don’t want to bring him down.
He nuzzles my shoulder before placing a series of chaste kisses up my neck. “I thought the same thing when I looked outside and saw you glowing on my balcony. Now, tell me what you were really thinking, baby.”
I turn in his arms and look up to meet his gaze. The truth is written in my eyes just as it is in his. We’re both dreading this goodbye. Even though it’s not forever, the thought of not being able to have this man’s embrace routinely hurts.
“I’m thinking that this weekend went by entirely too fast.” Laying my head on his chest, I wrap my arms around his waist and squeeze. “And I’m thinking that I’m going to miss the hell out of you.”
Teddy returns my hug and kisses the top of my head. “I know, baby. I’m going to miss you so bad, but I promise I’ll call you every chance I get, okay?”
“Okay,” I mumble into his chest.
He pauses to lift my chin, then searches my eyes. “I’ll tell your brothers today. I swear I will. You can come to all my games wearingmyname on your back. I can hold and kiss you before and after every one. I’ll move you into my condo to get every stolen moment with you in the evenings.”
In a moment of weakness, I almost agree, but I can’t. We can’t do this right now. Shaking my head, I smile lazily at my boyfriend. “We’ve already talked about that. We will tell them after the season. This is your dream.”
“Youare my dream,” he says, kissing my brow.
“I’m yours, and I’ll be yours as long as you’ll have me—
“Forever.”
“Exactly. What’s a couple of months when we have the rest of our lives to be together? This is more than just us. Every guy on your team, my brothers included, dreams of winning the Cup, and you actually have a shot this year. They deserve a chance. We can give them a few—”
