He frowned while Tekumi laughed.

Ax shrugged.“I thought we were just guessing.”

The man grinned.“Hello, little djinn.I am Avor.”

“Great.I am Ax.”

Tekumi grinned.“He’s the king. The mate of Regis.”

“Oh.She’s a good cook.You are lucky.”

Avor stared at her.“Thank you.I know I am.Our daughter is also spectacular.”

“Cool.How old is she?”

“Ten, turning eleven in a few weeks.”

Ax grinned.“I have a niece the same age.Eleven is great.”

Avor nodded.“It is.She’s so smart it makes my head spin.”

“Yeah, they are scary and adorable at the same time.”

He walked over and extended his hand to her.Ax reached up, and they didn’t spark, but his energy pushed at hers and didn’t get far.

His eyes widened.“I see.”

“I am glad.I wouldn’t stand a chance with arm wrestling.”

Avor paused and then grinned.“Fair enough.Your kind was not supposed to exist yet.”

“Yeah, I am hearing that a lot.”

“You have family locally?”

“Yes.Two brothers, who both have children, and one younger sister. My parents are still around as well.”She smiled.“Family is important, and I consume a lot of birthday cake.My family now monitors consumption.”

Tekumi smiled.“She’s sugar sensitive.”

“Ah.Yes, that does happen among djinn, but Tekumi would know better than I would.”

She looked at the man in question.“I thought you were a little lithe for one of the battle elves. The way you move reminds me of my sister.”

Tekumi raised a brow.“Really?”

“Yeah. She’s the omega in the family. She keeps scaring alphas away, and the Omega Centre is pulling their hair out.”Ax grinned.“The family is so proud.”

Avor asked, “Is she similar to you?”

“Same development?Yup.But she looks like liquid sex when she moves around.Heads turn, alphas stammer, betas lock up, and she just gets her junk food and leaves. Then, we giggle.”

Avor chuckled.“I see.Is your sister available to come for a visit?”

“How fast?”

He paused.“When she can arrive here.”

“Cool.Cool.”She got her phone out and sent Hatcher an invitation.
