“That’s it.” I praise.

Within seconds, I feel her walls start to close in around my cock. The pressure is too much, so I do the exact thing I asked of her. I let go and shoot my seed inside of her.

ERIC

“Eric! Are you listening?” Clyde booms, dragging me out of my thoughts and transporting me back to where all of this started. The very first day, he sent me to South End to handle Amy, which resulted in me meeting Lily.

Ever since last night, I haven’t been able to get her off my mind. Finally, being inside of her has clouded all of my thoughts. She’s completely consumed me, but this isn’t’ a life for her. It can’t be. She’s too pure. Hell, she’s a fucking mother. It would be a whole new level of dark for me to drag her into this shit, knowing it would put a target on her back. But at the same time, I think I could protect her. Keep her locked away and all to myself, never letting a soul know about her.

I know she wouldn’t allow that thought. She’s too hard-headed.

“Eric!” He booms again when I don’t respond.

I shake my head lightly to clear my thoughts. “Sorry. What?”

His lips press into a hard line. “South End. What’s going on with that bitch?”

My blood starts to boil as the word rolls off his tongue. How dare he call my woman out of her name, but I have to keep my cool. Showing even the slightest irritation will only make him suspicious.

Shifting on my feet as I stand in front of him, I cross my wrists over my front and act unbothered. “What about her?”

He tips his head. “Why hasn’t there been any news? What the fuck is going on? I’ve given you plenty of time to handle this shit.”

I shrug. “I’ve done everything I can to get info from her, but either she’s tough as fucking rocks or doesn’t have anything to give. I think at this point, we need to focus on luring Amy out, but it’ll be a lot of work. Are you willing to spend the time and resources on that for someone like Raymond?”

A sick smirk pulls the corner of his lips up. “Killing her would be easier. It’ll tie up the loose ends and lure Amy out, but seeing as you can’t seem to get the job done, I’ll handle it.”

My stomach drops to the soles of my feet, and I can feel the sweat start to bead up on my forehead.

Kill her?He can’t fucking kill her.

“I can handle it.” I try to change his mind, but when Clyde says something, that’s it. There is no argument or discussion. What he says goes because he’s the boss.

He shakes his head as he stands from the couch. “What’s done is done. Go make sure the clean up with CJ is done since you couldn’t be bothered to stick around last night. I don’t want this shit coming back on us.”

My heart beats faster inside my chest, but I keep my stance and face stoic. He can’t know I’m upset. It will only fuel his vendetta. “Fine. When do you plan to kill the girl?”

“Tonight. Now go.” he waves me off.

I give him a curt nod, then exit his living room, then the front door. Making sure to keep my pace steady, I make it to Alfredo in the SUV and start talking before I can even close the door. “Go. We need to get some things in place.”

Without question, he does as I ask as I pull my cell from my pocket. Dialing the landline of South End, I curse to myself when all it does is ring over and over. I’m ready to hang up— say fuck it and drive there and get her now— but I know Clyde is watching. If I had to guess, the fucker who was at the warehouse last night relayed what CJ said, then and it had Clyde on edge.

If I go to South End now, all it will do is confirm whatever he may be thinking, and I don’t want that. I need to think. I need a plan.

As the phone rings again, I direct Alfredo back to the warehouse, and her voice pours through the speaker. “This is South End Boy’s Home, how can I help you?”

“Lily?”

I swear I can hear her heartbeat pick up speed over the line. “Leave me alone, Eric—”

“Don’t hang up on me. It’s an emergency.” I cut her off, not bothering with any sort of formalities.

After a beat of silence, she speaks again. “What do you mean?”

“Clyde— the man your sister got in trouble with— he’s going to be showing up there this evening. I don’t want you to panic though. Continue as if everything is okay and I will be there soon for you and Max.”
