I woke with the sunrise like I always did, and Easton’s knot was still locked inside me. We’d fuckedseveraltimesin the night, my sleepy memories covered in an orgasm haze, and he’d knotted me every time. I loved having him inside me, feeling the stretch and ache and fullness, but now I had to get up.
I shifted, and his knot slipped out with a gush of fluid. I wrinkled my nose. I’d have to do laundry later.
I tried to move off him, but his arms banded around me like steel.
“Where are you going?” His voice was muffled in my hair.
“You are not knotting me for like the fifth time.” I laughed. “Go back to sleep. I’m going for a quick swim and then to do my daily lighthouse checks. I’ll be back in a minute.”
His hold didn’t loosen.
“Eastonnnn.”
“Oliveeeeee.”
I laughed as I pushed off of him. “I’ll be right back.”
Easton sat up, his curls sticking up every which way and his eyes bleary. “Did you sayswim?”
“Yeah.” I pulled on Easton’s sweater and a pair of leggings, quickly taking my pill before he noticed. “I go every morning.”
Easton grumbled as he got up and pulled on his pants—no underwear. “That sounds dangerous.”
I wrapped my arms around him. “Come on, grumpy alpha. You’ll love it. Nothing like a sunrise dip.”
“I only want sunrise dip if I can eat it with chips.”
I laughed as I dragged him out of the house and down to the beach where Felix was sitting on my rock.
“See, Felix knows this is the hot place to be.” I scratched him under the chin. “Are you going to come in with us?”
Felix flopped down on his side and meowed.
I stripped off my clothes and heard Easton’s sharp inhale. “Sunrise swimming is naked? You should have led with that.”
In an instant, Easton’s clothes were off and he’d picked me up bridal style. I shrieked, self-conscious of how on-display my fat rolls were in this position, but Easton didn’t care. His hot gaze ran down my body, and then he jogged towards the water.
“Fuck, fuck!” He swore as the cold waves hit his legs.
I shifted out of his arms and laughed as I ran further into the water.
“You’re not normal!” Easton shouted at me. His arms were crossed as he shivered.
“Normal is overrated,” I shouted back, and then instantly, a lump formed in my throat because it’s what my dad always used to say. I leaned back in the water, floating on my back as the waves rocked me back and forth.
Then a hand encircled my arm. “Alright, baby, that’s enough of that.” I clung to Easton’s arm as he pulled me out of the water. His teeth were chattering as we made our way up the beach to the rock… the rock Felix was currently jumping off of, Easton’s pants in his mouth.
“No, Felix!” Easton ran after the cat, buck naked, and I bent over with laughter.

I walkedinto the bookstore over my lunch break, feeling self-conscious. When I’d left the lighthouse, Olive was curled up on Easton’s lap as he fed her lunch, and Finn had been pretending to be engrossed in work.
Fuck. The three of us needed to have a real conversation about our pack and what we were doing. Easton had his date with Olive last night and had slept over. Petulant jealousy seeped through my veins. I wanted to spend every night with Olive.
But today was the day. My turn to take her out on a date, and I would start things off by giving her a gift.
