I let out an irritated noise and turned my piercing gaze onto the culprit—the shy teacher omega. She was carrying a large box of rocks that blocked most of her view.

She set the box down on the grass and scratched my ears.

“I’m really sorry. Are you okay? I didn’t see you there.”

I leaned into her touch. Mmm, that was nice. The teacher omega always gave me treats. She kept some in her desk drawer in her classroom in case I slipped in after hours for a visit. She smelled like gingerbread, like Christmas.

Hmm... Christmas was just around the corner. I fixed the omegawith my piercing stare and a little purr rumbled in my chest as a plan fell into place.

My tail flicked back and forth as I set off again, towards home.

Yes, this would be a very good holiday season.
