Gray kneeled in front of me. “Do you want us to take charge, princess? We can make the decisions for our omega tonight.”
I lowered my hands and met his gaze with a nod.
“Good girl. Come here.” He pulled me into his arms, and I wrapped my body around him.
“Henry, order mac and cheese, chicken tenders, cake, and whatever other comfort food you can think of. Oh, and french fries,” Gray said.
I buried my face in Gray’s neck as we waited for the valet to bring around our car.
A hand stroked up and down my back. “You’re doing so well,” Liam said, his voice low. “Now it’s our turn to take care of our omega. We’ll get you all set up cozy in your nest.”
“With you,” I whined.
“We’re not going anywhere,” Liam said, kissing my cheek.
I allowed myself to sink into my instincts, letting my omega take over. I couldn’t cope anymore. I hid away in the recesses of my mind as we returned to the house.

“We’re back, love,” Gray murmured as he carried me into the house. “Do you want to be in the bedroom?”
I nodded. Nothing would feel right until I was in my nest. My skin was sensitive and itchy like it was during my mini-heat.
Gray placed me down on the bed. Someone had made it this morning. The comforter was smooth and all the extra blankets were folded and stacked at the foot of the bed.
It was all wrong.
I started rearranging everything, but the more I did, the worse it felt. I whined as I grew more agitated. My guys were watching, and I couldn’t even make a proper nest. Finally, part of me broke.
“I hate it,” I said, throwing an offending pillow off the bed. The moment it hit the ground, I burst into tears.
“What is it, princess?” Gray asked.
“The pillow doesn’t look good on the floor,” I sobbed.
Gray looked mildly panicked as he picked it up, holding it like it was a grenade. “Do you want it back?”
“What kind of alpha are you if you don’t even know what I need?” I shouted.
My own words jolted me out of my haze, and I covered my mouth in horror. Fresh tears dripped down my cheeks.
“I’m sorry,” I choked out. “I didn’t mean that.”
“Love, it’s?—”
I curled up in a ball in the center of the destroyed bed. “You should all go.”
“Darling, no,” Henry said. “We’re not going to?—”
“Just go,” I shrieked, furious they weren’t listening and silently begging them to ignore me.
“The stress and medications are throwing off her hormones,” Liam said. His calm voice just made me cry harder. “She needs a real nest. Can we rearrange some shit, Henry?”
“You can burn the place down if it helps her for all I care,” Henry responded.
“We’ll keep that as a last resort. For now, let’s grab a couple of mattresses and bring them to the living room,” Liam said.
