"We can't put them in the development with Platinum Provisions," Liam retorted.

"Why not?"

"We need the space," Jack said. "There's been a lot of interest in the medical device work we'll be doing with PharmaTech. I'm anticipating we'll grow much more quickly than previously thought."

"We need to have a legitimate and desirable space for Sebastian," Greg said, looking up from his phone. "Hunter was telling me about how you all have been spending your time with that temp worker, planning Halloween parties instead of finding space."

"The Halloween parties are a good idea," I snapped, unwilling to let Greg shit talk Penny.

Greg's lip curled back. "The fact that it isparties, multiple, plural parties, is a problem."

"Just FYI," Jack added, "the Holbrooks were showing Sebastian around Frost Tower the other day. They were giving him a tour of Mark Holbrook's space."

"Did he seem impressed?" I asked.

"Yes."

"Was your tower decorated for Halloween?" I demanded.

"Uh, yeah. Chloe did some decorations."

"Was it hay bales? Did you have those animatronic puppets? What about the fake spiderwebs?"

"No puppets," Jack said.

Greg cursed under his breath.

"Shut up, Greg."

"But a lot of pumpkins. Chloe was going for tasteful yet homey."

"He ate in Chloe's restaurant," Liam said. "I met him briefly. He seems nice. He was impressed with the restaurant."

"Was it decorated too?"

"You get weirder and weirder every time I talk to you," Liam said.

"He took a lot of pictures of the space," Jack added. "I know Greg hates holidays, but I think we can all point to the impressive turnaround of Frost Tower's financial situation as an example of how nice decorations can sell a project."

I texted Penny.

Garrett:The credit card has no limit. Feel free to go all out. Aim for tasteful yet homey.

Penny:Sure thing, boss.

Garrett:No animatronic puppets.

"We need to have a legitimate idea about where to put the factory," Greg said. "Not decorating tips."

"Didn't you say you two were looking at some other property nearby?" Mace asked. "Greg, what about the portfolio of foreclosed properties we bought over the summer? Can we put any of those together?"

"The only one that would be big enough would be the old belt factory on Sixth Street," he replied. "It shares a block with several properties in the portfolio."

"That could work. It's a nice building," Mace said, looking at the pictures of the property on the screen.

"It needs a lot of work," Liam said. "We were looking at that one potentially."

"If Sebastian is easily wooed by hay bales and pumpkins, surely he'll like the building. It has character," I said.
