Garrett tied the mask around my face. It was a delicate black silk. I looked sexy and mysterious in the mirror. I played with the lace fan, admiring my reflection as Garrett dressed.

"Ready?" Garrett asked, standing there in a tux with tails.

I studied the tux. "Wait—oh!" It had white bones painted all over it.

"It’s like Daniel Craig in that James Bond movie!" I exclaimed, clapping my hands together. "The one that started on the Day of the Dead. Oh. My.God,you look freaking hot!"

Garrett smirked and pulled a skull mask out of a box. It had black silk ribbon to tie it. Somehow that made him look even more fuckable. One gray eye winked at me through the mask.

He slipped a top hat onto his head and picked up a cane. Draping a fur cape around my shoulders, he offered me his arm.

"Also," Garrett said as he inspected the mask in the mirror. "One more thing I forgot to add… we’re crashing this ball."

Apart of me didn't even want to go to the charity ball. I wanted nothing more than to fuck Penny in that outfit. The way her breasts in the tightly laced bodice of the dress swelled above the neckline… the way the slit exposed part of her leg, revealing the creamy skin… But Penny was excited.

"Whose charity ball are we crashing?" Penny asked happily. She looked mysterious in the mask. I leaned down to kiss her but couldn't make contact. The skull mask covered my jaw and mouth, and while I could speak in it because the jaw piece hinged, I couldn’t make out with Penny. Though I did try.

Penny giggled as the mask brushed her face. Her mask only covered her eyes, so she reached up and kissed me on the skin of my jaw right at the edge of the mask.

"Careful," I said. "Or I might just have to fuck you before we even get to the elevator."

She shivered and clung to my arms.

"Don’t tempt me. Besides, didn’t you know that my absolute dream is to go to a fancy masquerade ball?"

"This will be fancy, all right," I said as we walked out the door.

"We won’t get arrested for crashing, will we?"

"Let's hope not."

"It’s Halloween. The saying is ‘trick or treat’ for a reason."

The doorman already had a limo waiting when we arrived downstairs.

"Oooh, a limo, and it's an SUV limo," Penny said, shivering slightly as we stepped outside. It was freezing. It was definitely late October. The wind whistled through the canyon of tall buildings as I helped Penny into the limo.

Penny leaned against me once I sat down beside her.

"Champagne?" I offered, pouring her a glass.

"Oh my god, this limo has a bar in it? So. Cool. This is the first time I've actually been in a limo," she said, pushing at the buttons like a kid.

But when she sipped the champagne and posed seductively, she was all woman.

"You ever had sex in the back of the limo?" she purred.

"Can’t say that I have." I couldn’t really kiss her, but I could do other things. "The drivers talk though," I whispered in her ear. "Maybe we should give them a show." I let my hand slide up the hem of her dress.

"The Kennedy Arts Center," the driver said a little too loudly.

Penny coughed and downed the rest of her drink, fanning herself. "That was a quick ride."

"My condo is in a desirable part of town," I said. The limo driver opened the door, and I helped Penny out.
