I tilted my head.

“Tired?”

“That man gave me syphilis and walks around like he doesn’t have it,” she snapped. “So yeah… I don’t mind watching everything around him burn. He put a hit out on Ares. Twenty million.”

I didn’t turn because I felt his presence.

“I watched your location. You told me you were going to the spa.”

Bianca panicked. “She’s crazy—Ares, you need to?—”

“Laurent put a hit out on you,” I said. “Twenty million.”

His eyes shifted to Bianca. “You knew that?”
