"Mmm...chicken.No, pumpkin.Or maybe beef.Yeah, beef," Finn said, shaking his head.

"Are you sure you want beef soup and a salad?"Bevin asked, and Finn wasn't sure if he liked his best friend's tone.

"Why are you asking me if I'm sure?Of course I'm sure," Finn huffed as tears filled his eyes."You know what, forget it.I don't want anything.I'll just starve, and so will your brother and sister, since it seems like it's too much trouble for you to get me a chicken sandwich, a shrimp salad, and a beef, chicken, and pumpkin soup."

He threw the covers back."You know what, I'll make it myself."He went to get out of bed, but Bevin stopped him.

"Finn, don't, you know the doctor said you're not supposed to move around much."

"Then why don’t you want to feed me?"Finn growled.

"I didn't say I wouldn't feed you," Bevin said softly."I just want to make sure I get everything you want."

"Really?"Finn said, looking up at his best friend.

"Of course. Now get back into bed, and I'll go order your soup and salad."

"And a sandwich," Finn added.

"Yeah. Now get comfortable, and I'll be back soon."

"You're going to be a good big brother," Finn said, complimenting his friend.

"I think so too."He smiled."But I can't wait until Dad gets home; only he can handle your mood swings."

Finn ignored his last comments and got comfortable, grabbed the television remote next to him on the bed, and turned it on to distract him while he waited for his food.As soon as he turned it on, he noticed it was the news.He was going to change it, but stopped when Roderick's image appeared next to the journalist's head.

Finn shook his head.Three months ago, Roderick had kidnapped him and died right next to him.Roderick had been shot by a stray bullet during the shootout. The stress had sent the babies into distress, and for two weeks Finn had done nothing but lie still and pray.

Bevin, who had been on vacation with Shane, rushed back the second he heard that Finn was in the hospital. He'd been pissed at Prince for not telling him the minute he found out Finn had been kidnapped.

But he’d been grateful that Tucker was there to help with the rescue, which only deepened Finn's admiration for Tucker.Finn had also learned that his former boss had a hand in the rescue, but Prince wouldn't say exactly what role he played.

After he was sent home, Finn was placed on limited duty, and at his appointment two weeks ago, Doctor Hunt put him on bed rest for the rest of his pregnancy, and he was watched constantly by Prince, Bevin, and Gray, who would howl as if the house were on fire if he saw him lift something he shouldn't have.Finn wasn't sure who trained him to do that, but Finn sometimes missed the sweet, quiet British shorthair who would sit by him while he had a cup of coffee or wanted to sleep on his stomach.

With Finn on bed rest, for now, their wedding reception was put on hold until after the babies were born.Finn felt a little bad about lying in bed all day while they were in the middle of packing up the apartment to move to EastVale.Finn had been so overjoyed when Prince told him.

For now, Bevin wouldn't move right away, and S&T Investments' head office would remain in New York, but Finn would conduct business remotely and gradually transfer operations to EastVale.Shane, their university friend, had joined the company and was working as Bevin's assistant, which Finn had not seen coming, since Shane could work for his family's company.

Finn smiled and rubbed his stomach.Despite what had happened with Roderick, he was happy, and the babies would be born soon.He looked toward the door as it opened, expecting to see Bevin enter with his meal. But his face brightened when Prince entered carrying a large tray.

"A big birdie told me you were hungry."

Prince smiled and walked over to the bed, set the tray down, and then sat beside Finn on the bed.He leaned down and kissed Finn on his lips.Finn hummed, and his arms circled Prince's neck when he went to pull away, deepening their kiss.It had been so long since they’d made love that Finn was having withdrawals.

"You're home," Finn said when their lips separated.

"Yeah, did you miss me?"

"Stupid question," Finn said, chuckling, and then jumped, rubbing his stomach."Ow."

"Are you alright?"Prince asked, looking at Finn with concern.

"Yeah, one of the babies just kicked.I guess they are just as excited to see you as I am."

"Ah, babies, Papa is happy to be home with you, too."

Prince helped him rub his stomach, but it didn't seem to be helping like it normally did.The kicking was getting more intense to the point he felt nauseated.
