Although Finn was impressed with the clear blue water and beach that could be seen from the balcony of his bedroom, what he wanted was to experience sleeping and waking up in Prince's arms. Not just sleeping next to him, but being ravished by the man.

Maybe he was asking for too much. After all, he and Prince had gotten this far.

"Finn."

He turned when his name was called, followed by a knock, and smiled when he saw Prince leaning casually against the doorframe.

"Are you all set?"Prince asked.

Finn nodded."Yeah."

"Good.Come on, it's a beautiful night.Let's go for a walk."

"Sure.Let me grab a sweater."

"Okay."

Finn went over to his closet and grabbed a sweater.Prince helped him button it up, then clasped their fingers together and pulled him out of the room and into the hallway. They held hands as they got on and off the elevator and walked through the elaborate hotel, only releasing for a brief moment to remove their shoes and roll up the cuffs of their pants before stepping onto the sandy white beach.Once there, they joined hands again and continued walking without a word passing between them.Prince's thumb brushed slowly over the back of Finn's hand as they walked.

They enjoyed the soft moonlight, the light breeze carrying the salty air that tickled his nose, and the gentle crashing of the waves hitting the shoreline before rushing back out.It made Finn lean closer to Prince, feeling his warmth and safety. And it was that safe feeling that made him speak up about what had been on his mind and bothering him.

"I want to sleep with you," he blurted out.

Finn kept walking, unaware that Prince had stopped, until he was suddenly pulled back into Prince's arms and crushed against his strong chest. The hand Prince had been holding was gently twisted behind his back, locking him into place.

"Say that again," Prince whispered.

"Wasn't I clear enough?"Finn quirked a brow, holding back a snigger as he took in the shocked expression on Prince's face."I don't want to wait anymore.I'm ready to move to the next phase in our relationship.Even if it's just sleeping next to you.I…"

Prince pressed his mouth to Finn's before he could say more. The kiss was deep and hot, so all-consuming that Finn had to pull back, though not very far since Prince still had a tight hold on him.

"Damn," he said, gasping for breath.

Prince stared at him for a moment, his hands still gripping Finn as if he didn’t trust himself to let go.

"Are you sure you can handle sleeping with me?"Prince licked his lips, staring at Finn with eyes that could only describe as hungry.

Finn's fingers tightened in the front of Prince's shirt before he even realized he had grabbed hold of it.

Instead of answering right away, Finn stepped closer into Prince's hold.Fuck, what the hell did I do?Despite his thoughts, Finn gathered his courage.

I wrote a cheque. My ass is going to have to cash it.

He circled his free arm around Prince's neck."I think we've danced around the issue long enough.Don't you?"

Prince didn’t speak. He stared at Finn, and it was as if Finn could read the older man's thoughts.

"I trust you, Prince.I know you’ll take care of me."

Prince nodded."Let's keep walking."

Finn didn’t argue, and they started down the beach again. He noticed they were heading away from the resort hotel, the moonlight guiding their path. The lights of the resort slowly faded behind them as the beach grew quieter, the soft sand shifting beneath his feet with every step.Waves rolled onto the shore in a steady rhythm, the salty breeze brushing against his skin while Prince's hand remained warm and steady in his.

He noticed that for such a gorgeous, romantic night, there should be another couple or two also enjoying the evening, but he didn’t mind that they were alone. He was about to wonder if a walk on the beach was the big surprise when he spotted a burning torch in the distance.Finn thought nothing of it as they continued walking until they came to a rock outcrop with more torches and candles mapping the way around the jagged sides.Finn tugged on Prince's hand before they could turn the corner.

"Is this your surprise?"

Prince looked at him, smiling."More or less."They stopped walking, and Prince turned, cupping his cheek, tilting his head up, and pressing their lips together."Come on," he whispered, stepping back and leading him around the rocky corner that held the true surprise.
