"What do you think of my idea, Blue?" Dagon asked.

"Huh, what was that?" Uriel looked from his dessert and then at Dagon.

Dagon smiled and touched the side of his mouth. "You have a little cream on the corner of your mouth."

Uriel stretched out his tongue and licked the left then right side of his mouth, tasting the sweet cream. "Did I get it all?" He watched Dagon's eyes sparkle and his lips curl into a smirk that told Uriel that the Abandon president had never seen Blue Lennox as a friend but someone he wanted to devour, and he was just waiting for the right time to eat the man up.

"No," Dagon said, reaching toward him and gently swiping with his thumb along his bottom lip, from one corner to the next, gathering the rest of the cream that he must've missed.

Dagon didn't reach for a napkin to clean off his finger, and instead he brought it to his mouth, licking off the cream.

Seriously, what kind of shit is this? Is he not afraid of my germs?Uriel looked at Khray who was steaming mad but didn't utter a word. Uriel tried to telegraph his thoughts. My dude, he wants to fuck your lover, don't play blind to his actions anymore.

Khray was a newly transitioned alpha and not as dominant as Dagon, so even if he wanted to beat the shit out of him, he couldn't. Khray still hadn't gotten the alpha mindset yet, and Uriel hoped he'd catch on soon for Blue's sake, because he knew men like Dagon did not care if someone had a lover or not. If there was something he wanted, he took it, damn the consequences.

Fuck, I can't wait to kill you with my bare hands.

Uriel picked up his napkin and cleaned off his lips, trying not to throw up. "What were you guys saying before?"

Dagon's smirk grew into a smile. "I was telling Khray that you should go on a dating show likeFind a Mate."

"Why the hell would I do that?" Uriel looked between Dagon and Khray for a better explanation.

"I told Jason you wouldn't be interested," Khray said.

"I can't see why not? You're single, aren't you?" Dagon said.

Is this fucker fishing to see if Blue Lennox is single?

Uriel looked at Khray who was staring down at the table, as if sending him a nonverbal message not to give his and Blue's secret away. But Uriel figured it would have been the perfect time to let it be known; he couldn't understand the secrecy, especially since society was fine with two men being together.

Sighing, Uriel spoke up. "I'm not interested in dating anyone right now, and even if I was, I don't have time. Shooting for The Traveler officially starts tomorrow, and I'm devoting my time to making sure it succeeds."

"You should also make time for your personal life as well, don't you think, Khray?" Dagon said.

What the fuck is wrong with this damn guy?Uriel was growing frustrated with Dagon and their conversation.

Khray looked up, and for the first time since the conversation started, his alpha pheromones filled the private room. If Dagon noticed he seemed unfazed by the change in the atmosphere.

"Jason, I agree with Blue, he doesn't need to date right now. He has to concentrate on his career."

Dagon looked between Khray and Blue, as if reading more meaning behind his words. "You're very protective of Blue," Dagon commented.

"Shouldn't I be?" Khray said calmly, but Uriel could tell he was pissed. "Jason, I respect your thoughts and ideas when it comes to certain things. After all, you are my boss and I'm appreciative that Abandon signed Blue to the company and afforded him to bring me along as well. Without the resources you've provided we wouldn't be here, but in this case, back off."

"As you said," Dagon smirked, "I'm your boss, so you have to do as I say." He reached for his case and pulled out a folder, throwing it in front of Khray. "I was going to give you both a chance to get used to this idea, but fuck it. This is an application forOmegas of Valleywood."

"Why are you giving this to me? Blue is not an..."

"Omega," Dagon said, cutting Khray off. "Come on now, Khray, how long do you and Blue think he can pretend he's a beta?"

"How long have you known that I'm an omega?" Uriel asked.

"I've always known," Dagon said. "You should stop hiding what you are and accept it. Plus, it will improve your image."

"And you think going on a reality show with catty omegas sniping at each other would do that?" Khray asked.

"You pretend Blue can't be spiteful when he wants to be, but only a few know that. If the public sees this side of him they would be much more impressed," Dagon explained. "If you don't believe me, turn to the last page."
