“I’m sure you’ve already gone through some of the preliminary questions before I showed up, like his birthday and such, so since you’re his lover, you would be able to tell me his tells, his likes and dislikes...”

“How did you know Blue and I are lovers?” Wade asked. “Only a couple of friends know about us, we haven’t gone public with our relationship.”

“It was a lucky guess,” Uriel said sarcastically. “Plus, isn’t that what your passionate speech was about?”

“I see,” Wade said.

“Anyway, I will need videos of what he’s like in private and in public.”

“Even the intimate ones between us?” Wade smirked, raising a brow, and Uriel wanted to smack him just because it would make him feel good.

“One or two will be fine. We can’t afford to have slip-ups in case we bump into the ones who know about you two.”

“I can see that,” Wade mused. “I’ll get you everything you need.”

“I also need a copy of his schedule, and I need to see inside of his apartment to get copies of everything he owns and wears. I also need a list of people he works with every day, like his assistant.”

Wade nodded. “I can get you the list you need, but why do you need to have copies of everything he owns? Why not just take the originals?”

“I need them for myself. I might be wearing his face, but I won’t wear his clothes and sleep in his bed.”

“But you’ll be staying at his place, well, our place,” Wade said, seeming very confused. “We have a second room.”

“I have a private life as well, Mis...Khray.”

His eyes brightened, apparently getting Uriel’s meaning. “Oh, I see.”

Uriel stood and walked over to the window. “I’m not sure if you already answered this, but where were you guys heading before the accident?”

“Out to dinner. We were supposed to meet with Director Fang and Mister King, Valleywood Studio president, since Blue is an investor on the new project, but the accident happened. The fortunate thing is they canceled the dinner. Apparently the director's mate went into labor.”

Upon hearing the studio president’s name mentioned, Uriel looked at Khray Wade seriously. “Do...do you guys do that often? Meet with the studio president?”

“No, tonight would have been our first meeting, but I assume we’ll have to do it, eventually. I heard since Mister King took over he’s been meeting with everyone.”

Uriel nodded, trying to push the anxious feeling away. He knew he’d bump into his ex in the future. He just hoped he would be ready when it happened.

“When does the shooting for the series start and do you have a script?” Uriel asked.

"In a few weeks, and yeah, I have the script. I’ll get it for you. Since there are a few fight scenes in the show, Blue’s been practicing and working out hard for the past couple of months. I’ll send you those videos as well. The good thing is he planned to take a week off before taking care of a few other obligations.”

Not bad timing, Uriel thought. Usually, he only needed a day or two to get into character, but Uriel got the feeling it wouldn’t be so easy playing Blue and needed to make sure everything was perfect.

“Sounds good.”

They talked about a few more things, and the tension that had surrounded the room slowly evaporated, making it much easier to get along.

“There’s something you need to know about Blue that he doesn’t want the public to be aware of,” Wade said.

“We’re listening,” Synder said.

“Blue is an omega, but he would rather be seen as a beta.”

“I don’t think that will be a problem,” Kayne said.

“I hope you’re right,” he said to Kayne, then turned his gaze to Uriel. “Although Blue takes suppressants, he can be a bit submissive at times, especially when his heat cycle is near. I usually plan a trip so no one will notice. He hates it, but it can’t be helped.”

“There’s nothing wrong with being an omega,” Uriel said.
