Crevan moved Emma off his lap then wrapped his arms around Alistaire’s neck. “Oh, I know so.”

Alistaire’s arms circled his waist, pulling him closer. “No more talking. I’m not done making love to you for the night.”

“Oh, yeah. I remember you saying something about me not walking straight to—”

Alistaire claimed Crevan’s lips, not letting him finish the sentence for the rest of the night. The only sound he wanted to hear was his lover moaning and begging for more.

“Hercules, get back here,”Fox yelled after his Rottweiler who’d gotten away from him.

Fox had gotten Hercules from a shelter after he’d been abused by his last owner. The dog was well behaved and enjoyed being outdoors. Fox hadn’t seen his dog in a few days since he’d been working nights at the hospital and asked his friend Megan to look after Hercules while he was at work.

He stopped running when he saw Hercules licking and rolling around on the grass with some guy he’d never seen at the park before. The guy had a beautiful smile and long bright red hair pulled up in a bun.

“Hey, buddy,” the red head gushed. “How have you been? Did you miss me?”

Hercules licked all over the guys face—he was so excited his tail was wagging a mile a second. Then a thought hit Fox.

“How do you know my dog?”

The redhead looked up at Fox and he was hit with the most hypnotizing green eyes he’d ever seen.

“You’re Herc’s owner?”

Fox rolled his eyes. “Hence the words ‘my dog’.”

The redhead chuckled as he stood extending a hand towards Fox. “I’m Adien Castillio. I’m a friend of Megan’s. I was at her place a few nights ago when I met Hercules.”

“Oh,” Fox said, reaching out to take the man’s hand, shaking it quickly then released it. There was something about the man that set off his warning bells.. “I’m Fox...Fox Miller.”

“It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

“Well, it was nice meeting you.” Grabbing Hercules leash, Fox was about to walk away with his dog when he was stopped by the redhead.

“Hey, I was wondering if you’d like to go out…”

“I don’t date,” Fox answered.

“How about a drink?” The redhead smiled. “You must get thirsty.”

“Look, I’m always working and don’t have time. What little time I get is spent with Hercules. So do yourself a favor, and don’t bother trying to ask me out again.”

The redhead smiled at Fox, as if he’d said something silly. “You’re an interesting man, Fox Miller. I think I’ll make you mine.”

Fox snapped his eyes, opened looking up at the familiar ceiling.Another weird ass dream. What the hell?

Soft breathing reached his ear causing him to turn his head meeting Alistaire’s sleeping face. He smiled, reaching up to caress his lover’s strong jawline. In every one of his dreams so far, the men he’d encounter all had green eyes like Alistaire. They were handsome just like his mate, but there was something wrong because each time they got close to him, Fox would feel angry as if they were the wrong person he was looking or waiting for. Putting his dream to the back of his mind, Fox moved closer to his mate and went back to sleep.

Fox gritted his teeth, trying not to show how much pain he was in with every step he took. When will I fucking learn not to write a check my ass can’t cash.Alistaire had been faithful to his words and hadn’t disappointed him. Alistaire had made slow sweet love to him again after their talk, taking him to newer heights. The other thing was he was no longer a virgin. He giggled, entering the kitchen.

“I see someone’s happy this morning.” Fox looked up when he heard Aria’s comforting voice behind him.

“Hello, my beautiful mother.” He moved over to Aria and kissed her on the cheek. “Did you and Dad have a nice date?”

Aria smiled. “Yes, we had a wonderful night.”
