"Yes, I am. I can't remember anything else, but I know for sure it's 2018." He looked at the other occupants in the room, noticing their worried expressions. "Right?"

"Fox." The handsome older gentleman walked over to his bed, kneeling so that they were eye to eye. He had silver blond hair and a similar build and features to the blue-eyed guy. Except his eyes were green. He touched Fox's cheeks, and another comforting feeling washed over him. "Son, it's the year 2020."

Fox furrowed his brows and his gaze shifted around the room, looking at each person to see if they were fucking with him. This had to be a cosmic joke. Fox’s shoulders started to shake, trying to hold in his laughter, but laughter bubbled out of him—wincing, feeling the pain in his lower abdomen and head. The one in his heart subsided, giving in to the laughter.

"You got to be fucking kidding me. Two years," he said between his laughter or possibly tears. Fox felt the tears streaming down his face. "How the hell did I lose two years of my life?"

"Fox, son, please calm down," the handsome gentleman pleaded.

"Calm down!" His laughter was giving way to anger. "How the hell can I calm down when you tell me two years of my life is missing? I don't know any of you, even though you keep calling me son. Hell, I don't even know where I am. You all could be lying to me!"

"Okay," the handsome gentleman said. "What do you want to know?"

"Let's start with your damn names. I can't keep calling you a ‘handsome gentleman’ in my head."

The older gentleman smiled. "Thanks for the compliment, son. I am Barret Hannigan, your father, and this beautiful woman beside me is Aria, your mother."

Mother, father, sister, and brother. How the hell did I gain a family in two years?

He turned to Moressa. "And you're my sister, how come you don't look like everyone else?"

Moressa smiled. "That's because I'm your sister-in-law. I'm mated to Zev and Corbin."

"Mated? What the hell does that mean? And who's Corbin?"

"That would be me." The green-eyed guy stepped over to Moressa, pulling her in his arms, and kissed the side of her head. “And mated is kind of like being married.”

Fox's eyes widened, seeing the intimacy between them and then turning his gaze to Zev, who was staring at them adoringly. "Wait a minute. You’re telling me that all three of you are in a relationship together?" Fox pointed to each one of them. "And you guys are okay with this?" He looked at Aria and Barret in disbelief.

Aria smiled. "Why wouldn't we be? They are destined to be together, just as your father and I were meant to be. And one day you will find your forever mate."

"I'm so confused," Fox whispered. What world is this where parents are okay with their son being in a thruple relationship?

"Don't worry, my little one, we'll answer all of your questions. But first, let the doctor finish checking you over."

Fox nodded and stayed calm the entire time, but questions still swirled around in his head. After the doctor was finished checking him over and asked questions Fox could only answer “no” to, he pulled Aria and Barret to the side. Fox watched as all three started whispering, but not doing an excellent job. Fox heard everything they were talking about.

"As I said earlier, he has amnesia. He doesn't seem to have any head injuries, but I'll order a scan to be on the safe side."

"What about his heart?" Barret asked.

"If we can keep him calm, he should be okay enough to go home."

“Doctor," Aria said. "What about the baby? Should we tell him?"

Doctor Evans sighed. "You won't be able to keep the baby from him. That's his child. He should be able to bond with the baby."

"Baby, what baby?" Fox spoke up, letting them know he heard everything. All three turned to look at him. "Tell me what the hell you're talking about. What baby?"

Aria moved back over to him. "Your baby."

"My...my baby?" Fox was so shocked he didn't know what to say but found the words. "I have a baby and a lo...lover?" Aria sighed, looking down. "What happened to my lover? Is the baby okay?"

"You...you don't have a lover," Aria whispered with her head still down.

"What do you mean? Did they die?"

Aria shook her head. "You never had a lover that we know of. Fox, you were artificially inseminated."
