Spank me. Quintus heard the purr fall from his lips. “Yes.”

“I’m not sure you know what you’re asking for, kitty.”

“I want...” Quintus breathlessly panted, unable to finish his words. All rational thoughts had somehow disappeared from his mind, leaving him with lustful images of things he never knew he wanted.

“What do you want?” The question whispered in his ear as warm breath ghosted over his skin, making him shiver. “Tell me, pretty kitty. What do you want from me?”

Quintus went to speak but heard ringing. It was as if someone threw cold water on him, bringing him back to his senses. He blinked, his eyes clearing and was able to see the man standing in front of him.

Oh shit! Scott! Oh, my gods! I was rutting against Scott like a cat in heat.

Embarrassed by his actions, Quintus pulled out of his arms and ran to his car without saying a word to the man. Putting his car in drive, he pulled out of the driveway, looking back in the rearview mirror at Scott who was staring at his retreating vehicle.

Oh fuck, what the hell have I done?

Chapter Five

“Are you just going to let him run off like that?”

Scott turned and saw his cousin, Fenrir, leaning against the door frame to what used to be the kitchen. Scott closed the door and walked further into the house.

“Why would I stop him?”

“It seemed like you were into it, but I could be wrong,” Fenrir said with a shrug.

“What the hell are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be guarding the in-between or something? What happens when the mortals find out you guys are on this realm?”

“The days of gods hiding and not being able to mingle among the mortals are over. Your father challenging Odin was a big help with that. I should thank him the next time I see him.”

“Well, don’t keep showing up out of the blue. Even the residents of Vale Valley would find it creepy.”

“Someone has their claws out. Maybe you should have fucked the cheetah, instead of letting him run off like that.”

“Not you, too,” Scott said. He was growing very tired of his family members telling him to get laid and move on from his lost love. “He’s not mine to claim.”

“Didn’t look that way to me. And don’t lump me in with all the others. I love you, kid. But I have my own issues,” Fenrir said to him.

“What kind of problem could a god have?”

“I’m looking for a certain wolf. I kind of lost track of him. I know he’s in Vale Valley...but for some reason, I can’t find him,” he grumbled. “I marked him, dammit.”

“What did you do?” Scott asked, then thought better of it. “You know what, I don’t want to know. Whenever anyone one of you guys show up, bad things seems to follow.”

He knew the kind of trouble that followed Fenrir and their other cousin Kingston, and it was never good. Kingston was known for punching an alpha in the face, just for flirting with him. Although some of them might have deserved it, Scott couldn’t handle Kingston or Fenrir’s problems when he was trying to get his own shit together. Scott only hoped the wolf he was looking for knew exactly what was coming his way. Other than that, it was none of his business.

“Please, tell me you’re the only one in town?” Scott asked.

“You know I can’t lie to you, so I won’t answer that question,” Fenrir said, smiling.

Scott groaned. “Why the hell are you guys showing up into town, now?”

“Are you kidding me? Vale Valley is a magical hub. We love coming here and mingling with the residents. If I find my wolf, I might stay for good. It’s been a while since you and I hung out.”

“Why me?” Scott mumbled.

“You should go after him,” Fenrir said, cutting into his thoughts.

“Who?”
