Epilogue
Lucas studied his ass in the mirror and smiled proudly at what he’d done since having the twins and the whole Daniel Ritter thing happened. It’d been six months and his body was almost back to where it was before he was pregnant. After what had happened, he had to stay in the hospital for two weeks before the doctor allowed him to go home. Tucker and his parents had brought the kids to see him every day, which was the highlight of his day.
Pulling up his pants, he walked down the hall to check on the twins; they were six months old, and he couldn’t believe how much time had passed or how big they were getting. Next, he made sure their bags were packed for the weekend. Because he wanted everything to be perfect for when Tucker got home later that night. The combined training that had Tucker going back and forth to New York had finally happened. Tucker had been gone for three weeks, a bit longer than they anticipated, but they spoke to each other every night.
Exiting the twins' room silently, he walked over to Zoi’s and opened the door to the now three-year-old who sometimes thought she’s thirty. “Hey, Zoi, what are you doing?”
“I’m drawing a picture for you and Papa.”
“Oh, wow, I get a picture too,” he said making her chuckle. “Can I see it?” She nodded, and he walked over to sit beside her on the floor.
It was a very good picture of a house, two ill-proportioned male figures standing beside the house holding what looked to be babies with a little girl standing in between them. One male had black hair and the other had yellow for blond. He smiled noticing what he assumed where clouds. Sitting on the clouds were two figures that Lucas couldn’t make out.
“Zoi, what are these?” he asked her pointing at the two figures.
“Mommy and Aunty Roe,” she told him as if he should know exactly what they were.
“Oh,” was all he could say. Tucker and Lucas had spoken to Zoi about her mom and Rochelle without going into deep detail about their deaths. They gave her a story of having angels watching over her and her brothers. She knew that Rebecca was her mom and that Rochelle was once Tucker’s wife, who she decided to call Aunty Roe.
He set the picture down and brushed his fingers through her curly hair. She got up and sat in his lap bringing more of her drawings with her. The conversation that he and Tucker had sometime after he’d woken up in the hospital came back to him. He’d confessed to Tucker that he’d been having dreams about Rebecca and thought that was all they were, but he also explained how Rochelle’s ghost had woken him up when Daniel Ritter had entered their home.
Tucker had told him he’d thought all that time since Rochelle’s death he thought he was going crazy. He’d also given Tucker Rochelle’s message, but they made a promise not to reveal anything to the family. Saying they were seeing ghosts in their dreams was one thing, but in real life was another.
The sound of the front door closing had Zoi up and running out of her room and down the stairs. Lucas, on the other hand, was a bit slower, he stopped at the bottom of the stairs watching Tucker and Zoi greet each other. Zoi was giggling and hugging her papa as tightly as she could. She was rubbing her tiny fingers through the scruff on his face that made him look sexy and dangerous. Tucker looked over at him and the heat he read in his husband’s eyes made him gasp and his cock jerk in anticipation for the night to come. Tucker had no idea that he arranged for his mother and father to watch the kids for the entire weekend.
“Are you going to keep it?” Lucas asked stepping close to Tucker and Zoi touching his cheek gently.
“Do you think I should?” Tucker asked rubbing the scruff on his chin.
Lucas kissed him rubbing against Tucker’s lightly bearded cheek and moaning in his ear before stepping back and winking at his husband. “Go get cleaned up, we're having dinner with my parents tonight.”
“Do we have to? I kind of wanted to spend the night doing other things.”
“It’s part of the deal I made with my mom so that she and Dad would watch the kids for us this weekend.”
He and Tyler finally got their new office set up, and things were running smoothly. For his diligence, Lucas promoted Matt to take over his side of the New York office. He'd offered to take Matt with him, but since he was pregnant with Erich's child, he declined the offer to move to Providence. The relationship between Lucas and his father was getting back to normal. He was slowly coming to terms with and forgiving Asher for his infidelity.
One thing he had to agree with his mother on was that whatever happened between Helen and Asher was between them and he and his brothers had no say in what happened. Seth transferred to the newly set up Providence Seeker office and was leading his own team.
Lucas liked Seth a lot, he blended well within the family and even started joining Lucas, Christen, and Tyler for their weekly brother lunches. They were all with him when he got his surprise for Tucker that he couldn’t wait to show him.
“Fine,” Tucker relented then pinched his ass as he walked by him to go upstairs.

Later that nightLucas walked into his bedroom as the towel he was wearing around his waist fell to the floor. He bent to pick it up and stopped when he heard a gasp. He looked over her shoulder and saw Tucker staring at him or rather his ass.
“Do you like it?” Lucas asked standing up.
“When . . . When did you get it?” Tucker’s voice was low with arousal.
“The day you left, I took my brothers with me.” Christen couldn’t believe he was doing it.
“I can’t believe you’re going to get a tattoo,” Christen said to him.
“Why, what’s wrong with a tattoo?”
“Let me rephrase my statement. I can’t believe you’re going to get property of T. H. S. on your ass.” He leaned in and whispered the last part.
