Attractive.

Valuable.

She stroked his head, following the lines of his hair, back to his horns. His expression shifted, and her stroking the horn base certainly seemed to affect him.

"Is this an erogenous zone?" she asked.

"It seems to be so," he replied. "Though I think you could touch my finger right now, and it would entice me."

She smiled. "Shall we test that?"

He held up his finger.

She touched it, wrapped her hand around it, and stroked it up and down. He closed his eyes and sighed in pleasure. So, she kept at it. She felt bold and beautiful, doing these things and seeing him react. She continued to touch him along his wrist and down his arm, stroking the lines and the markings on him.

He watched her as she explored him, his expression growing more and more intense.

When she reached his chest, she stroked him and could feel his heartbeat--his very fast heartbeat. It wasn't the only place on him that was reacting to her, either. Being on top of him, she could feel his male parts against her and the warmth, as well as the hardness that grew.

It was exciting and erotic.

She adjusted her position a little so her hips were more squared against his, and he rested a hand on her thigh. He stroked her gently with his thumb and arched his back so that he pressed a little more into her.

It stretched out his chest and made him seem even larger before her.

Enticing.

She loved the way he looked. And he was hers.

Why she trusted his words and not others before him, she wasn't sure, but she did. She knew that he was honest, and he would not let others harm her, regardless of the outcome here on Kantenan. She felt it.

A trust she'd not felt from a male in a very long time.

"What are you waiting for," Khalzin said.

"Am I waiting for something?" she asked, smiling at him.

He tipped his head to the side. "I hope not."

She started to lean down.

He grabbed her and pulled her down to him.

Their lips met in a fiery kiss, and suddenly, nothing around them mattered. She couldn't hear the rain outside or the thunder. The lightning seemed to time with their passion as he wrapped his arms around her.

She started to reciprocate, but she grazed the bandages on his side.

And froze.

He glanced at her. "What?"

"Your wounds. I don't want to hurt you."

He twisted and reached down, popping off the coverings. "Looks good," he said.

Gauge marks were still on him, though it looked far better today than it did before. She didn't realize he would heal so quickly from the injuries. "They're not fully healed, though."

"It'll be fine. I'm sure by the morning, I will have a scar, and that's all."
