"Give us?" Kolvin asked.
"Your clothing. You cannot run around looking like that. You want to make a proper impression," she said. She walked over to Marcin and touched his arm.
Marcin looked over her head at Kolvin and shrugged. He bet his friend had no better idea of what was going on than he did.
"It's fine, we have apartments ready for your boys, and we'll go get you some clothing."
"What happened to the soldiers?" Solkan asked.
"Soldiers?" the pink humanoid asked.
But the medical guy, Duke, knew the answer. "They're in a different area but being treated for injuries as well. They aren't recovering as fast as you are," he said.
Kolvin glanced at his arms, where he had been cut over and over on. Those scars wouldn't be healing anytime soon. None of his would be. But there was a bandage on his shoulder, where he had been injured. Already he could see that it had been adequately healed.
"Well, then, let's go shopping. I am sure you are ready to get some new clothing and get more comfortable."
Kolvin nodded and glanced back at Duke. "Thank you."
"Sure. If any of you feel ill or have any issues, please get back here, and we'll figure out what is going on."
"Come along. Let's get you boys ready, then."
"Ready for what?" Kolvin asked.
"Your mates, of course. The Intergalactic Dating Agency is at your service."
"We get mates?" Marcin asked.
"Of course. That's what we do here."
