Epilogue

"It's not exactly like home," Tina said as she walked along the sandy beach on Sol-1.

"Do you not like it?"

She smiled and glanced at him. "I like it. The sand is a little different. I'm not complaining, though. Just stating a fact."

He ran over to her and picked her up.

She squealed as he did, and he spun her around.

"Stop. Put me down!" she cried as she giggled.

He stopped spinning and sat her down.

"I take it you're adapting well to all your new protocols?" Tina asked.

He nodded. "It is taking time, but yes, I am catching up on all that I missed out on and what happened in the war."

She kept her arm around him, and they walked along the beach a bit.

"I do see why you like this. The sound is very relaxing."

She grinned. "It always makes me feel good. So, I'm glad we are building a residence here."

"Away from the others is probably best right now," he said.

Master System decided as the new family units begin to be explored for the Rhimodians, separate residences will be needed to allow for a different kind of bonding between the couples, until such time as the populace fully adapts to the changes in the society.

"Right after a war, no matter who it is, the people who were involved need time to repair and adapt to the change."

Kolvin agreed. "We will learn to be a stronger species because of this, but it will take time to better--"

"Kolvin, get over here," Marcin yelled from the front entrance of his domicile, the one he shared with Gianna.

"What?"

"Come here! Now!"

Kolvin ran and reached the door. "What is going on? Do you need help?"

"No. Look."

Kolvin looked at the screen.

It was red.

He tensed, because red was the color of the Terran Empire.

He gritted his teeth. "I don't like red."

"No. Wait."

The image shifted, and it showed two Terran females -- the Empress and the Imperial Princess, the two sisters.

"That's the leader of the Terran Empire?"

"Recently changed to them. Their father ran it before," Marcin said.
