"Of course. What do you think we're going to do?"
"I don't know. That's why I asked you to be careful."
Gianna leaned down and kissed him.
Vinka turned to Solkan. "Be good."
"No."
But there was a bit of a smile on his face.
She smiled at him too, and the two of them exited the ship.
Kolvin glanced at Marcin and Solkan. "What are they going to do?" he asked as he took a seat on the chair that was large enough for a Rhimodian.
"Probably break the portal," Solkan said.
Kolvin could not help himself. He chuckled.
About that time, Harbin came back. "Where are your female counterparts?"
"They had something they had to do," Marcin said. "They will be along."
"Are we waiting for them?"
Kolvin shook his head. "No. Take us back to Sol. We need to get our upgrades."
The ship closed and they started to detach from the station.
Kolvin watched out a window as the station faded away.
Things were changing.
How were they going to end?
