He shifted again, and this time, his eyes fluttered open.

"Tina," he whispered. "Are you all right?"

"I'm fine. Are you all right?"

He blinked. "I suppose I am." He panted a few times. "Was I dreaming?"

She nodded. "Furious, scary dreams."

"I am sorry if they disturbed you."

She touched his brow again. "I was more worried about you."

He grabbed her hand. "You need not worry about me. I am sure it is just a side effect of what I went through."

"I am sure. But I can stay out here with you if you want."

He shook his head. "You do not need to do that."

"What if I want to?"

"Why?" He asked.

"To make sure you're okay. I feel like I should help you in whatever way that I can." She moved so that she was sitting next to him and started to lay down with him.

"I am well," he said. "Just tired."

"Me too," she said and laid down next to him.

He held out his arm, and she laid her head on it and rested her hand on his broad chest.

He didn't curl into her, really, but he turned his head.

She could feel his chin on the top of her head.

"I like you," he whispered.

"I like you too. Now get some sleep."

"You as well."

She nodded. "Me as well."
