"But can you?" Gianna asked.
Kolvin took a step forward. "The formulations are possible. It can be done with the right technology modifications."
Tina nodded. "You can send me back if I want to go and return me to the same time it was when I left."
"Within a few minutes, yes."
She looked at Gianna. "Okay. I'll do it."
She looked back at Kolvin.
Was she crazy?
Most men she met were more petite than she was--this guy was certainly larger than her and looked able to handle her wider hips with no problem.
Did I just think that?
She wanted to smack herself.
Wait.
What if he can read my mind?
Stop it. He doesn't need to know--
About that time, Duke came over and hit her with the hypo-sprayer thingy.
"Hey!"
Kolvin crossed the room in a stride. "What are you doing?"
"I was giving her inoculations."
"Do not touch her without permission." Kolvin glared at the doctor, making him step back.
"I'm sorry. I told her--"
"It's fine," Tina said. She really didn't want to see this giant guy start ripping the doctor apart. All things considered, the doctor was nice.
"It is not. You need not be violated." He looked ready to destroy the doctor.
Tina waved her hand. "It was a shot. He was making sure I was healthy."
The other one walked over to Gianna. "Did you get your medicine yet?"
She nodded. "I did. I'm Gianna."
"Marcin. Come, Gianna. I will show you our dwelling."
"Wait, what?" Tina asked. "I have to live with you?"
Re-lee blinked. "How else can you connect with your mate in the thirty days if you do not live together?"
Tina blinked. "I'm not sure I'm ready for this."
"You need to be. Because it starts now."
"Why do I feel like this is a horrible reality series?" she muttered to herself.
