At least, not until he heard the rumors on Disguised Serenity.
He scraped away at more waste, the pressure cleaner working overtime to get the muck out of the bin.
Again, he was thankful he could turn off his smell receptors before coming in here. The mold and muck mixed with the sulfur in the air and gave everything a rotten smell.

Bahran paused."Master System?"
Incoming transmission.Text only.
"Location and source?"
Terran Empire.Private channel.
He paused, and his mind started to race. The Terran Empire?Had his message gotten through? It had been such an impossible quest. He could not believe that it would possibly find a way to work.
What if it wasn't?What if it was something else--that it was merely a "go away" message?
He inhaled a breath.
At least he tried.
The putrid smell of the waste hit him, and he choked.
He muttered a curse.
Incoming message.
"All right, Master System," he muttered.
Was this actually going to work?
He had heard a rumor the last time he'd gone to Disguised Serenity, a nearby space station they sold their exports at every few weeks. It wasn't anything he thought was true, but when the talk had shifted to him and what happened, he wanted to know if it was possible.
Though the only way he could find out would require him actually infiltrating the Terran Empire.
He was well over two and a half feet tall. Most Terrans barely hit the two-meter mark.He would not be able to just land there and blend in, even with the tech that could camouflage him in any environment. In fact, his feet and legs reflected the same mucky black-brown goo as the large waste bin he was standing in as he cleaned it.
So he knew his only chance would be to find an ally.At Master System's insistence, he sent a text-only missive to the Imperial Princess Caoimhe Bron.Master System's calculations said that the Imperial Princess would most likely respond to his inquiry.
That had been a few weeks past.
With no response, he had assumed that she would not be answering, and he would need to find a new way to determine if the rumors were true.
That the Terran Empire had Rhimodian prisoners of war.He wanted to know if his people were alive.
If they were, he would find them and bring them home and back to Master System.
"Display the missive," he said.
Dear Bahran,
While I understand your concern about the possibility of prisoners of war in the Terran Empire, I can assure you that there are no such prisoners here.Under the Galactic Alliance Accords, we, like all other governments, cannot and will not have prisoners of war in the Terran Empire.
If you believe that information to be incorrect, I recommend you consult your sources to determine their validity.
Regards,
