"Not enough."

"Then, by all means, Admiral, let us find out how to better help those people too."

"Yes, Your Majesty."

Caoimhe stood perfectly stillas Diado slipped the underdressing on her, the ones that helped the placement and the shape of the over robe to be correctly structured.

She could see the starfield beyond the nearby window as they traveled to the Sol system.

It was time.

It was finally time to finish this, and arrive at the negotiations and lock everything in.

Caoimhe had no doubt she could bring round the negotiations.Talking to Bahran, she very much knew that she could make it all work out.She had a list of requests and a list of concessions she was authorized to give.Everything had been agreed upon by the Emperor prior to leaving.

Her father had not spoken about their conversation from before, and Caoimhe had not brought up his desire to send an invasion force. She hoped that maybe he had forgotten.

Yet, just before they left, he reminded her of it.Promising that they would be coming with her.

So Caoimhe made her own plans to take care of everything.

Veta was in the dressing room, and Diado handed her a dress.

"I'm not wearing that."Veta tossed it back.

"You most certainly will so," Diado replied."You'll ruin the entire esthetic of the landing party!"

"I'm a bodyguard.Not a dress-up doll," Veta replied.

Caoimhe picked up her own dress as she'd spoken, and just pulled it over her, the layers swishing in the room, and she glanced at Veta. She wasn't surprised the bodyguard was against the many layers. And honestly, if Caoimhe could get away with it, she'd dress more like Veta in her body suit than in the fancy layers she wore now.

"Sorry," Veta said, though the apology seemed like an afterthought.

"You are who you are," Caoimhe said as she waved her hand."And I am who I am."

"You're not a doll."

"In a way, I am."She smiled and made an exaggerated face like she was a toy.

Veta chuckled.

But there was a question she had for her bodyguard."Did you inspect the escape pods?"

Veta nodded."I did.And I even stocked them with supplies."

"Thank you."

"Look, I know this is a big deal, but it's going to be fine," Veta said."We're not going to fail. You're not going to fail, princess."

Veta had been by her side for years, making sure that nothing ever happened to her or Eleanor."I know.I just like to be prepared."

"You've been preparing for weeks," Eleanor said."I doubt you've missed anything. You've probably found things that none of us know about."

"I most likely have," she said with a laugh.

"I'm sure she hasn't," Freya said."We have gone over so many data points, I could probably negotiate myself if I had to."

The girls chuckled.
