Though was she capable of what she said? She seemed to be just a girl.

Well, a young woman, anyway.

Whether she had the control and the power to do what she said remained to be seen.

Trust her, Master System said.

"Yes, Master System."

Bahran reached the main walkway, and just as he stepped into the crowd, he saw her again. This time, she was surrounded by a group of other Terrans--military guards who did not look happy to be there.

Bahran headed down another walkway, away from her. He'd have to double back to get toward his ship, but that could not be helped as he moved through the crowds. It was essential to stay away from her.

Should keep her safer.

He rounded another curve in the wall and almost walked straight into her.

She stopped and stared.

The guards surrounding her brought their weapons up.

Bahran backed into the wall as he held up his hands. He bowed his head, trying to look as non-threatening as possible.

The group started to shuffle away.

"Stop," the princess said.

She pushed through the guards and walked right up to him.

"Imperial Princess, please," one of the guards said.

She waved her hand, though her eyes hit his.

And she closed one eye.

A wink.It is a Terran gesture.Means to trust,Master System explained.

Bahran didn't move. His skin started to morph to the silver of the wall behind him.

"It is quite fascinating how your skin shifts like that," she said.

"Thank you," he replied, confused about what she was doing. Why was she talking to him? What was the purpose?

"Do all Rhimodians do that?"

"Yes."

"Interesting."Her gaze ran over him like she was inspecting him, though the top of her head just came to his shoulder."Are all Rhimodians this size? Are you normal for Rhimodians?"

"Mostly, yes."

"I had no idea your people were so large."

"I was not aware your females were so small," he replied.

She shifted a bit, and her dress made that crinkling noise again."I am average, I suppose."

"As am I."
