Bahran was stretched out on her bed, a meal to be dined on, for certain.

Completely nude, and ready for another round. His firm body, so large and strong, she could stare at him forever.Or leap on him and have her way with him.

It was a toss up.

Upon returning ot the Rhimodian moon of Sol-3, she requested a new Terran ship to arrive and pick up all of their things to bring them back to the Terran homeworld. But until she returned, she had some time to just relax after the hell she'd been through.Though there was nothing quite like watching that weapon of her father's explode.

It almost erased the grief of seeing her father die right in front of her.

She knew there were very few options to truly stop her father.Attempting to imprison him would only make matters worse. As it was, she would likely be in danger for quite some time from his more zealot supporters, but hopefully Veta would be able to help with that.

And Bahran, if he chose to stay with her.He kept saying that he would be by her side and help her and protect her, but she still did not know what he would do when it came down to it, when she left.In a perfect galaxy, he would come with her, no questions asked.

This, however, was not a perfect galaxy.

She had to focus on the moment right now.She doubted she would have very many of them in the future where she didn't have to be overwhelmed with the state of the Empire.Even though he wasn't a great person, he did maintain the Terran Empire.

Mostly.

For many years.

And he'd done it alone.

Caoimhe hoped that her sister would be there with her, and together the two of them would be able to do what needed to be done.

Whatever that would be.

Caoimhe didn't want to think about it.The only missives she read were from Veta, with status updates.

Veta had landed at the Terran palace, and was going in and taking control of the military, with Wrathin's help, and the two of them were starting the changeover process, by weeding out the staff that were known to be loyal to the Emperor, and not to the Terran Empire.

There was a difference.

Caoimhe knew that she would have to go back soon and she and Eleanor would have a great deal to work on.Already, she'd been inundated with updates in many of the planets in the Empire. The boarder systems that her father had been sucking the resources out of were in desperate need for help, and she wanted to start there, to move the healing forward as fast as she could.Much of this, she'd been keeping in the back of her mind for several years, trying to make sure she was fully aware so when her father was gone, she wouldn't become overwhelmed.

Now that he was, she did get overwhelmed.Fast.

Thank goodness for Bahran.

He'd hauled her away and started with a massage to help her relax. That was his excuse, anyway. It quickly moved on to other things.

Much more fun other things.

She glanced at the communication tablet on her table, blinking furiously with incoming data.

He saw where her attention went."None of that right now."

"I should be hammering out the details of the peace treaty."

He raised his eyebrow."Master System says it is always negotiable.Do not look for more work than you need."He shifted."That last part was from your mother."

"That is so strange," she said as she climbed on the bed, curling into him."I have not fully processed that my mother still exists, in a way.Part of me is angry I'm just now finding out.But I also don't know if I would have been able to accept it, if I had learned when I was younger.Who knows what my father would have done if he found out she was somehow integrated in the system."

"Probably attack her with a virus."

"He said he tried that anyway."
