Her dark eyes widened. “I’m a huge fan.”

“He’s not a rock star, love,” I said, smirking at Matteo.

“Oh. I know,” she rushed on. “It’s just, my boyfriend was Jimmy Mahoney.”

Klaus raised his brows at that, and I looked at Matteo expectantly. Jimmy Mahoney worked for Ivanov, and we’d caught him when he tried to steal from us. Matteo had taken great care to make him pay for the shit he’d done.

I knew it was mainly about the way he spoke of Delilah. Ivanov must have told him that if caught, to use Del against Teo. They knew it would get him killed and keep any secrets he had safe.

But Matteo was Matteo and had let him live with the disfigurement. No cock anymore for Jimmy Mahoney.

It had been a long night.

“I-I just wanted to thank you. All three of you,” she continued. “He wasn’t good to me. He… hurt me.”

None of us said a word as she stared back at us. She reminded me of an innocent doe. Big eyes. Sweet. Prey.

“What do you say, Teo? Perhaps let the girl show her appreciation,” I said.

Matteo was quiet for a moment.

“How would you show your appreciation?” Matteo asked.

“I… whatever you want. I’ll do it. Right here. Um, on the table even.”

Klaus let out a soft huff. I smirked at him and shot him a wink.

“You want to be the whore we fuck for the evening?” Matteo asked.

She visibly swallowed before nodding her head. “I will be whatever you want me to be.”

Matteo glanced at me. I gave him a slight nod. She was pretty. Sweet. She’d be fun to play with.

He looked to Klaus next. He gave a slight shake of his head.

“Tell you what,” Matteo said, looking back at her. “Convince Klaus you’re worth it, and we’ll all fuck you.”

She looked back at Klaus, who scowled. I chuckled at that. He was always so irritated with everyone and everything.

Nervously, she approached him.

“Um, hi,” she said.

He said nothing and drank more.

I looked at Matteo to see the amusement on his face.

Even if nothing happened here with her tonight, it was worth it to watch her struggle with Klaus.

I could drink to that.

KLAUS

“Ilike chocolate, and peanut butter, and sometimes just butterscotch,” Kaycee said. Or Kendra. Or Kimmy. I had no idea what her name was. Something with a K.

All I knew was that she’d been at our table all night trying to get to know me. I knew Alessio and Teo were having the time of their lives watching this happen. I swore they lived to torment me.
